A boring and one-sided match we enjoyed. Liverpool controlled the entire game. Ball possession Liverpool 73% and Atletico Madrid only 27%. Moreover, Atletico Madrid could not make any goodattack. They made 3 shots in total. None of these were on target shots. We don't expect such poor gameplay from Atletico Madrid. If Griezmann had been in the squad, the gameplay at Atletico Madrid would have been more controlled. Griezmann scored two goals in the previous match against Liverpool.

So, Milan still scored his first point  a little late, but the funniest thing is that in certain options Milan can even get into the playoff stage. I am inclined to assume that in the next round Atletico will beat them and this is where Milan's torment ends. I watched multicast so I saw bits of all games. Ajax was my favorite from the start and I expected them to break Dortmund even sooner. It was a harsh red card for Hummels and maybe a weak penalty for Dortmund. Yes they can both stand but I am quite sure that some other ref would not award them.

Besiktas was missing lots of players and Sporting had easy job tonight. PSG - Leipzig was a great game and it could have ended as win for either of them. Maybe it is most fair that they took one point each. Brugge was very good before City broke them in last 20 minutes. I have a feeling they will take some more points in this group.

Firstly, I am not sure that Pep Guardiola would have returned to Barcelona in its current state. Guardiola is already used to working with clubs that have high ambitions and these ambitions are backed up by a good financial condition. With all due respect, the current Barcelona, with all its problems, hardly fits this definition. Barcelona now needs an anti-crisis manager in the current difficult conditions and Guardiola does not have serious experience working in such conditions without any guarantee of a successful outcome. Ajax played an awesome match against Dormund. From losing in the first half, to winning the match full time. They made a massive come back in the second half and probably scored 3 goals, which enabled them to achieve 3 points against Dormund in an away match. Although, Dormund had a red card in the first half, and also Haaland didn't play the match, this made the match more tough for Dormund to win. And they ended up losing with 1-3 score.
A great winning from Liverpool, I never expected them to win with clean sheet, I literally thought, Atletico Madrid will score, but Liverpool performance was indeed impressive. While Atletico Madrid ended the match will 0 shot on target, very surprising.

Ajax and Liverpool also secured their way out of the group in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League with their victories. Hummels' removal caused a lot of questions, considering that Antony himself stepped on Hummels' foot. Therefore, this fact may slightly explain the comeback that Ajax made. Atletico Madrid failed to score a single point in the matches with Liverpool, which looks quite surprising and has already complicated Atletico's struggle to get into the next stage of the Champions League and allowed Porto to reach second place in the group. Also, Milan still had chances to continue the fight, but still the draw with Porto greatly reduced these chances.

They have not too good form from Ligue 1 to Champions League and their wins are not too convincing like in the past. They have more troubles in Ligue 1 in the last and current seasons. Are their players distracted too much to Champions League and lack of ambition to win more Ligue 1?

I don't expect much from Messi because he does not really adapt to his new players and vice versa. About Neymar, he was unprofessional during the holidays after Coppa America and when he came back in PSG, his body has too much fat that is not good. This bad form of his body affects his performance so far.
