bangladesh had the chance to win the t20 series, I doubt they will be able to do some good in test series against India. By the way, will it be the first match with PINK color ball?

Bangladesh just managed to win a single T20 and they lost the series, if one of the matches was washed out then we could say that there was a possibility for Bangladesh to win the series . The use of pink ball is because India is playing its first day night Test match and if that could improve the audience in the stadium and the TV viewership increases  then it will be a success what ICC was looking for.

I wanted to watch the Australia A vs Pakistan match, but it looks like the match is not available on TV. It was the partnership between Babar Azam and Asad Shafiq which rescued Pakistan. Before that they were struggling at 60/3 against the second-string Australian pace attack. I would not read too much in to the scorecard. Let's see the outcome of the match.

I am quite surprised to see some good betting performance by Pakistan in the warm-up match.

Well, I didn't get to watch the full warm-up match, but I'm surprised by the highlights. It seems like the test series will not be very easy to win for Aussies, and we just might get to see some competition by both, the Pakistani bowlers as well as the Pakistani batsmen.

P.S. Who's this Imran Khan Jr. guy? Never heard of him. He seems to have taken five wickets. That's quite awesome.

Asad Shafiq and Babar Azam scored centuries but the rest of the batsman failed to score much runs in the warm up match and this is a second string team with none of their major players and even in the recent Ashes Smith was their main player and if Pakistan can pick his wicket then there is a chance to put pressure on the rest of the players and the Australian Test bowling line up is entirely different and it will not be that easy but it would be great if it is an entertaining match because i am still expecting a complete domination from Australia.

Oh wow, so he's playing after a gap of 3 years? I hope he makes a nice international comeback.

P.S. He might be 32 years on-record, but from the visuals, I don't believe that he's below 35 at the least. In simple words, this series might be his last chance to prove himself. If he fails in this series, he'll continue playing domestic cricket for the rest of his life without being selected for any international series.

It is true that Steve Smith was like an one man army during the recent Ashes series. Marnus Labuschagne was probably the only other batsmen who performed well during that series. However, many of the other batsmen seems to have regained their form recently, including David Warner. But still, the wicket of Steve Smith is going to be very crucial.

The bad form of the Pakistani bowlers is still a big concern. It is heartening to see Imran Khan Jr. taking 5 wickets during the warm-up match, but it needs to be seen how he will fare against batsmen such as Smith and Warner. Still, the results from the warm up match is encouraging for Pakistan, after their white wash during the T20 series.

Cheer up. Bangladesh played well despite so many people thinking they wouldn't after the BCB problems and the Shakib ban. They definitely did not make it easy for India which is something and they continue to improve over time.

Everyone was expecting a complete domination by India in the T20 series but it was a shock for many that India lost and then looked at the Indian team with none of their major players playing in the series and some lost their bets and i am waiting for the pool betting for the Test series as well as i really liked the idea.

Welcome to the age of day night Test matches and to have a better view at night for the batsman pink ball will be used.

Expecting anything from team Pakistan is really not something I do. One day they are top class team and the next day they are a team that you see in your local clubs.

Never seen this guy before, never heard of his name. I know only one Imran Khan and it's the legend- the world cup winner.
Imran Khan Jr seems to have a good performance till date- 28 wickets from 9 matches: not bad. But he was out of the team, probably because of injury although it's common that Pakistan have/had some good bowlers all the time which might be the reason of his absence.

I too taking it as an experiment to see how it goes. There are risk involved and I would not mind to take it for a small amount at the moment.

Yes there will be an accumulator (multiBet) offering to bet in the India vs Bangladesh. Right now I need to wait until to see the possible final squad from both India and Bangladesh team. May be I will be creating a topic two to three days before the Test starts.

Congrats on your rank up buddy  BTW, this will not be first pink ball test played. It's the first for both India and Bangladesh. But the first international Pink Ball Test was played by Australia and New Zealand in Adelaide from 27 Nov to 1 Dec 2015. I think I had mentioned it earlier in this thread but with wrong dates.

I am also not expecting any special performance from Pakistan and they do not have any exceptional bowlers now a days to think that they could trouble the Australian batsman, earlier they had some good bowlers but now a days they have no special bowlers to trouble a batsman but in the warn up match i saw someone bowling well but i am yet to see his bowling if he could show the same level of bowling against Smith and others.

Pakistan still have good fast bowlers, but the problem is that some of them are aged now and lack the much needed pace and bounce (Mohammad Irfan, Wahab Riaz.etc), while the other group consists of young but inexperienced pacers (Muhammad Musa, Mohammad Hasnain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah.etc). There is nothing in between these two categories.

Good to see a young talent bowling his heart out and the fielders are having butter hands as they missed many catches in the field and the bowling action of Naseem Shah resembles Dominic Cork and the youngster is getting is getting good bounce and i wonder the pace in which he is bowling.
India does have a young express bowler in Kamlesh Nagarkoti and he is injured and hopefully he will be playing for India once he is injury free.

Pakistan is having a very large player pool and they should have replaced the out of form bowlers such as Mohammad Irfan and Wahab Riaz much earlier. I was impressed with Naseem Shah, but it looked as if he got injured during the match. If he is fit to play in the first test at Brisbane (on 21st November), then he will be able to add a lot of venom in to the Pakistani bowling attack.

Australian pitches still support the pace bowlers to a good degree and there is no excuse for the pathetic performance from the Pak pacers during the T20 series. They were unable to get the batsmen under pressure, while the Australian pacers did the job brilliantly. I guess the time has come to say goodbye to a few of the bowlers who are in their 30s and go for fresh blood.
