If Mayank Agarwal can perform like this in bouncy tracks then he will be an asset for India, i have seen Jadeja and Ashwin perform in the past with the bat and they have a decent average for a batsman and can be called all rounders and are regular in the test line up for India as far as i know, Ashwin is not playing in ODI for T20 for over a year, India will look to win by an innings with they way they play as both the batsman are set for big runs.

Lol. No one is expecting an English like comeback from Bangladesh since the Indian batting lineup runs deep. Jadeja and Ashwin are great batsmen themselves. India is set to post something above 400 at this rate and they will probably win by an innings.

Mayank Agarwal scored his century and he is playing well and his position is cemented with his consistent performance and if Rohit Sharma can perform then the hunt of openers will end, i am looking forward for the tour of New Zealand whether the famed Indian players can perform well in New Zealand as i do not remember any series they dominated in New Zealand.

Am looking forward to this series too. Agarwal is fantastic these days while Rahane is playing consistently too. The Bangladesh bowlers are slowly losing confidence now and this match is almost over in my opinion.

I am really impressed with Mayank Agarwal batting performance because he played 8 test matches and scored 774 runs average of 67 % high score is 215, i am sure he will going to take place in India ODI squad for long periods if his performance continued like this.

I hope India will cross  500+ runs without any issue the same partnership continue some more overs.

India crossed 300 runs without losing much wickets and Mayank Agarwal might score his second double century as he is batting with control and saw some loose shots but those mishits went over the boundary and Ajinkya Rahane reached 80 plus and now he will be careful until he reaches his century. Since Kohli went for a duck i want to see when he will be planning to declare the innings .

Ajinkya Rahane lost his wicket looking for an expensive shot and Jadeja is sent now and the captain might be looking to increase the run rate or promoting him to have some experience in the middle and develop him as a complete batsman, Agarwal is still scoring freely and as long as he is in the crease they will score a huge total.

Edit: Jadeja is playing like proper batsman and he is not trying to increase the run rate.

This Test is really dead.

Day 2 - Session 3: India lead by 195 runs with 6 wickets remaining in the innings

We have 3 more days, in fact 3+ days. India can easily give a target of 300+ from here and then hey can declare the innings and team like Bangladesh always collapse in 2nd innings so in 2nd innings we will not see much more runs from them.

India will win by an innings and 100+ runs in this match.

Ajinkya Rahane reached 80 plus and now he will be careful until he reaches his century. Since Kohli went for a duck i want to see when he will be planning to declare the innings .

Rahane would just be disappointed as he was close to make his 100 and got out of 14 runs short of it. He was playing well and deserve to reach his milestone. On other hand Mayank is getting better as  more and more he is betting and also batting on top order is giving him a good space to bat throughout the innings.

Good facts from @sureshnsnet but it would be interesting to see how well he plays against bowlers who know the proper utilization of bouncy tracks i.e England bowlers and Australians bowlers. Still it's impressive to see double tons coming out from player like Agarwal. He definitely now made some room for him in the team which will go for some time now in future.

Agarwal was scoring runs in the domestic circuit and so is the reason he got selected in the team when the Indian openers were injured and some were struggling with their form and now he has cemented his place as there are other players waiting to get a chance and he knows if he do not perform he will loose his position as the competition is really high to get in the team.

This is really hilarious. I never thought this would be such an easy win for Indian Bangladesh are really playing like an associate team I think probably match would end tomorrow for sure as first session would be enough for India to make a lead of 400 and win by an innings. I am looking forward to the Day night match now. I hope that doesn't turns out one sided atleast.

You need to remember that India has lost six wickets as well. They would like to get to a lead of 400 or even 450. But it needs to be seen for how long Umesh Yadav will be able to give company to Ravindra Jadeja. Once either of these two gets out, it is going to be tough. Ashiwn can bat a bit, but both Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Shami are real tailenders.

And this 343 lead is enough to have this winning margin. I know Kohli knows the best but if I were to lead the team then I would ask the Bangladesh team to bat from the morning. Early morning the bowlers will have very good advantage and this should be enough to damage the Bangladeshi top order.

Whether Kohli declares the innings or not, the match will be probably over by the end of the day tomorrow. The outcome is already known to everyone. India is going to win by an innings and 100 plus runs (as you had posted earlier). I found the match boring and watched only a few overs today. Matches such as this one are the reason why people are losing interest in test cricket.

Well give me a match between Aus vs Eng or Eng vs India or India vs Aus, I will watch most of the balls. Test cricket are still the real cricket but it really has to be with same strength.

The most interesting matches are always by top three teams in world cricket, England, Australia and India and i am looking forward for the Indian tour of New Zealand and how the current Indian batsman will deal with the bounce is to be seen and they have some quality fast bowlers and how well they can perform in those pitches is to be seen and the rest of the matches are mostly one sided and even England does not have a good test team.

Hmm... I would partially agree. However, in T20 the weaker teams have a larger chance of committing an upset. For example, England was beaten by the Netherlands twice in this format, and such a result would be unthinkable if they were playing the test format. I believe that the chances of the weaker team is inversely proportional to the duration of the game.

That said, how many teams are out there, who could give good competition to the current Indian side? South Africa is currently ranked 4th in the ICC Test Rankings (above Australia) and we saw how they fared against India. There is something seriously wrong with the sport, if a 4th ranked team can't compete against the first ranked side in a meaningful way.
