The performance from the Pakistani bowlers was nothing short of disgraceful. The partnership between David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne is just six runs short of 300, and at no point during the day any of the Pak bowlers looked as if they are going to cause any trouble for the Australian batsmen. David Warner 166 runs is an unforgettable innings  and Marnus Labuschagne with 122 is not far away from him. Both of them are playing so good and with 9 wickets still remaining Australia can score 700 - 800 runs but they may declare the innings depending upon the weather conditions. They would definitely want to win the test before it can be ruined by rain.

Holy moly Pakistani bowler took a quite a beating from Warner and Marnus today. 4.14 runs per over tells you complete story of day 1st.

Its quite funny that no one is talking about how dead this pitch is for bowler on very first day. but everyone likes to pull out their guns when something similar happens in the Indian subcontinent. - bunch of hypocrites IMO-

I agreed with you they cryed only when this happen in Sub-Continent but as this happen in Australia or England no one ever cry as they have most hypocrite experts and media which is hurting beauty of this Gentlemen game.

That's how it is among cricket experts and fans as well, no one can't do anything about this anyway.

When Australia bowls it will behave like a bowling pitch and that is the irony, yes the pitch is not that great and the batsman are playing fearlessly,

We can't say that for sure but When considering pakistan's batting and history its very much possible.

We will start a request tweet to the Australian captain to declare the innings as soon as possible so that the match will not finish soon and Australia will have the opportunity to come back and bat in the second innings  . It is great to see that Australia is performing really well, India, New Zealand and Australia are the top performers in Test cricket and if you want to see a good matches we need to have matches between them.

Australia is looking for a record target and Smith might not even get a chance to bat in this game too as David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne is still batting and they might look to improve on their overnight score and can possible score double centuries and by that time Australia will have enough runs on the board to put pressure on Pakistan and possible win by a huge margin as they are scoring at well over 4 runs per over is ridiculous.

Australian do need to show some hospitality to the visitors.  

There needs to be a rule that should force the home team to show some hospitality to visitors if not it will be a brutal series where all the bowlers are struggling to contain the runs as well as not able to pick any wickets and the Pakistan batsman are struggling to score runs while the Australian batsman are scoring centuries every innings and improving their personal average  .

From the re-entry to the international cricket after specific time period his performances were tremendous. Smith too accompanies him, but the level of play isn't up to that of Warner. I would add New Zealand as well. their WTC schedule seems easy because they are not touring England and South Africa. England is excellent in the home condition and South Africa tours are always tough for any visiting team in comparison of Pakistan (UAE) Bangladesh, Srilanka or West Indies.

The New Zealand vs England match is progressing very nicely, and it looks like New Zealand may end up somewhere around 400. The tailenders are adding valuable runs for New Zealand, and the English bowlers (apart from Chris Woakes) looks clueless. Jofra Archer has proved to be a huge disappointment so far in this series. So far he has figures of 75/0 from 27 overs.

I opted to watch the New Zealand match over the one in Australia, because this one looked more evenly contested. On the other hand, it looks like Australia is stream rolling Pakistan at Adelaide. Pakistanis somehow managed to get Marnus Labuschagne out (by Shaheen Shah Afridi), and he'll be disappointed on missing an opportunity to hit a double century.

^^ England had a very good chance of taking advantage after taking 2 quick wickets today but Watling and Daryl Mitchell ruined the party for English bowlers, especially Watling irritated them quite effectively with some old era technique (bored to death).

I was expecting a much better score for New Zealand by the way they started especially when Latham was playing well but he got out when the match was delayed and these breaks can create concentration lapses and that cost his wicket, England does face a big challenge and lets see whether they are able to take a lead in this match and put pressure back to New Zealand.

I wish Warner scores his maiden triple century in this match as i was sad seeing his struggle during the Ashes series  .

That's almost a foregone conclusion. Actually I would be surprised if he get out before 300. The Pakistani bowlers looks like a hapless bunch and it may even be possible for Warner to become the first batsmen in the world to hit a quadruple century (400). Australia may not mind batting the entire day today, and they may declare only after reaching 700 or 800. I guess that gives Warner enough time to create some records against his name.

If the Australian captain did not declare the innings we would have seen the highest Test score and i am confused why he declared the innings with plenty of time as this was just the second day and he could have given Warner the opportunity to score the maximum runs, it is shame on the captains part as Pakistan is struggling as they already lost six wickets and the innings defeat is inevitable.
