He's a legend and we won't witness this sort of longevity from any fast bowlers but IMO he should've retired during the last Ashes. He was a big disappointment in the Ashes and that too on home turf.

The Indian tour wasn't good either and felt like a big letdown. Against 2 strong opponents (Aus and Ind), he picked only 15 wickets in the last 8 matches.

He restricted himself to test format only as he played his last ODI in 2015 and last T20I in 2009. After completing the T20I series today 1 st unofficial test series game was ended between Sri Lanka A team and Afghanistan A team. In 1 st Inning of Sri Lanka A was enough for win and Afghanistan a team did chased 436 runs target which was made in only 1 st Inning. S.Dinusha batsman deserved a player of award due to his brilliant bat effort and he made 145 runs in 193 balls and he hitted sixteen 4s. In this game we have only three batsmen which passed the fifty runs and try to resist with mostly were bowled out quickly because they are familiar with T20i and ODI which is currently their favourite formats, and they are doing good in these both formats Sri Lanka bowlers bowled out Afghanistan batsmen in just 130 overs which is really concern for them if they want to do something good they have to do some better things in future at the domestic level.

Afghanistan A team struggles in Test cricket are worrying despite some progress in their game. They were looking uninterested in longer format which has led to heavy losses in official and unofficial matches including recent defeat by Sri Lanka. To improve Afghanistan needs to focus on developing their domestic cricket and valuing Test cricket more.

Afghanistan performed very poorly against Sri Lanka in the recently concluded Test match, especially in batting. They batted very poorly in the two innings which is evident from the scores they collected in the two innings. A Sri Lankan bowler, he bowled just 11 overs to send Afghanistan down by six wickets, which further shattered Afghanistan's batting line-up. As badly as the Afghanistan team has performed, if they want to improve in the Test format in the future, they will have to play well in the domestic league and give it a lot of time. If they can care themselves properly in the domestic league then maybe they can improve themselves for the Test format.

Afghanistan A made a great comeback in the ODI series in the last two match. Which was showing that Afghanistan A can give surprise in the test match but they didn't give surprise but they shocked us. Afghanistan A need to focus on the mistakes and they should fix them to perform well in future. Afghanistan A has some good players who can change the situation of the match. They just need more practice. I hope they will do well in future.

I agree with you because Afghanistan A team performed brilliantly in ODI match against Sri Lanka A team and Afghanistan won both ODI matches. Maybe from that confidence I expected that Afghanistan team will perform very well in Test match if not win the first test match. The game will be competitive. Afghanistan team really let us all down Afghanistan team did not perform so well in test match their batting failure. However, Sri Lanka A team performed very well against Afghanistan A team due to which Sri Lanka team was able to beat Afghanistan in the first test match.

Sri Lanka A team did well in last T20 series and Afghanistan A team anyhow won the last two match. And afterwards this Test match started. And Sri Lanka A once again proved their legacy, how perfect they are in batting and batting. They became more dedicated in test format. I mean look at their scored! 435 runs were made which is huge where Sonal Dinusha alone made 165 runs. While Afghanistan A team played 2 inngins and did 198/10 and 211/10 runs. I must say Nisala Tharaka and Wanuja Sahan Kumara just made dangerous Bowl. And Even after both inngins runs, they made total 409 runs something and Sri Lanka A just won the match. Not only that. They won by an innings and 26 runs.

Sunrise Hyderabad team was very likely to win this match, because of their aggressive batting and number of bowlers whose performance is always on the up. So they performed well in the last matches and the margin of victory was the highest thus securing the qualifier match by occupying the third place in the points table. Today's match was closed due to rain because we didn't get a chance to even give the toss, water was accumulated inside the field so it could not create a playing environment. Even if the Gujarat Titans team could have won this match today, they still had no benefit.
