There is less than an hour left for the Madrid derby. I'm already getting excited a lot about it. Real Madrid are going to be favoured still and they have a big advantage in their home game here. There is no missing player for Real Madrid except Ceballos. It must be really good for them to see that Benzema has bounced back. For the Atletico Madrid side, Luis Suarez's condition was doubtful but it looks like he will be able to play. Then let's just enjoy this huge game!

I am glad seeing Real Madrid line up on derby because Karim Benzema have back to the team and playing as first minutes, after injury two match before on Champion league and La Liga top scorer of Madrid have back on Madrid derby. Not any change of composition player and only Assensio playing at the first minutes replace Rodrygo position and left back position have been filled by Cravajal. Have different composition player from Atletico Madrid where on forward position filled by Grizmann and Cunha where Jao Felix and Luis Suarez still on the bench.

I really hoped to see Barcelona winning against Osasuna today. After a very fierce competition, Barcelona couldn't prevent a 2-2 draw. I really appreciate Osasuna's high effort here. Barcelona got ahead twice but Osasuna were still there to score the equalizer in both cases. I can't say that Barcelona deserved a win here. Because the statistics of these teams were similar to each other. The best result would be a draw with goals and that was what happened.

why do they always lose focus when they lead.
even in the first half their advantage did not last long and only 1 minute apart.
again and again the results are not so good shown by barcelona, they have to work extra again in hard work to get back the position they lost

If this continues then it is very likely that they will not qualify for the Champions League next season. Xavi really has to find a solution to change his team's pattern of play to achieve convincing form for the rest of the season.

I just feel Xavi has no other choice but the line-up in his team to play in a game. Relying on academy players won't help much, but I think that's his choice at the moment because injury problems have plagued this team all season.

He is way ahead of himself now and this could be one of his greatest seasons. Atletico Madrid have no choice other than fighting for a goal now. We know how they play normally in this kind of big games. They just try to maintain the score and wear out the players of the opponent by defending decently. But in this case, they can't continue like that. And I think Real Madrid will be winning even if the score comes to 1-1.

Madrid managed to score first with only 1 chance Benzema was able to convert into goals, I was not surprised when the fans carried the banner of Benzema as King of Real Madrid   Unfortunately Suarez is absent in this match without Suarez I doubt Atletico can equalize, Matheus Cunha as a substitute has not been able to show his best game and I don't think he's a match for Griezmann.

Exit from Champions League is also having not good impact because now they are in UEFA Europa League with half heart and mostly peoples feeling they will exit from this as well, but I am feeling they can win this which is good for them to going into next year's Champions League with not having good spot in La Liga.

Karim Benzema is an important player for Madrid at the moment, missing the previous two matches against Inter Milan in the champions league and also Real Sociedad in La Liga. 16. The addition of one goal in the meantime makes Karim Benzema has scored 13 goals in La Liga and is the current top scorer. There is still a chance for Madrid to increase their lead in the second half, can Benzema add to his goal collection and Madrid can get three points from this derby?

Assuming they will improve after the next transfer window, if they could sign anyone BTW, I doubt they will be able to get the first two spots. Finishing the race even 4th will be an achievement, otherwise welcome EL or worst?

it's still hard to catch up with the top 4, because not only do they need to be better in the rest of the season, other teams should lose too so that Barca could catch up, it's a terrible situation they are in right now and their draw today was just another failure to get three points even after leading twice in the match, I think we'll see them in Europa league next year for sure, their financial situation won't let them get a player that can make a difference but who knows.

What a game! Espanyol really deserved it after such a hard fight, the red card was a bit off putting considering it was just two people running and you do not expect a red card move in that situation, could happen in some other situation like a very hard tackle but you do not expect it when two people are running next to each other, aside from that the whole game looks like a super fun one, I have to be honest I just watched highlights but even highlights was 10+ minute long since there were so many things to show from the game and the replays.

Barcelona now has to go up against Ossasuna, just 2-3 places down compared to Barcelona. If we look at it as "Barcelona vs Ossasuna" then we all would say that Barca will get a win very easily, but if we look at it as "8th vs 11th" on standings then things change a little bit, do we still say Barca? Not sure anymore.

Osasuna vs Barcelona match was a big disappointment for me. I was really believing that Barcelona would be the winner here and start a good form. And actually they could have done this really as they got ahead two times in the match. But the goal in the 86th minute devastated Barcelona players and they couldn't answer this in the remaining minutes. A 2-2 draw was the thing we saw at the end.

Marco Assensio managed to put Madrid 2-0 up in the 57th minute, there are still 40 minutes left in the second half and Real Madrid are still dominant in possession, I don't think the remaining 40 minutes in the second half can change the situation and Real Madrid won the derby first of the season. This result makes Madrid's position if at the end of the game the score does not change to be more solid at the top of the standings with 42 points from 17 matches, it is certain that Madrid will be the champion of this half of the season, hopefully they will be consistent in the rest of the next matches and can win the La Liga trophy again.

Real Madrid are very close to getting a comfortable win vs Atletico Madrid in Bernabeu. The current score is 2-0 and I don't expect any surprise from Atletico Madrid to make from now on. Real Madrid have been in a wonderful shape for some time in the La Liga. They had a huge winning streak that they would be more focused on this game compared to Atletico Madrid. Barcelona will want to gain 3 points from this match by any means. Osasuna is not a strong team. They are a very weak team. They have not seen any victory in the last 5 matches. 3 out of 5 matches lost. And the last two matches they have drawn. Osasuna will also aim to draw against Barcelona. Barcelona will win if they can use their tiki-taka technique properly.

People are under looking Osasuna so much, but they forget that this is a toothless Barcelona we are talking about. Osasuna is a very tricky team. If I recall well, they forced a draw with Real Madrid.

Personally, I think it will be a draw.

When Osasuna played against Maldrid the game ended in a draw because luck wasn't on Maldrid end not because Osasuna were able to hold Maldrid to a stand still. Barcelona will strive for this three points by all means and if they play well with good team work they might secure their full three points

So should we say today that luck wasn't on Barcelona's side?  

It ended in a draw as I predicted and there is no excuse whatsoever. In fact, if the Referee had cancelled off Barcelona's first goal due to handball. They would have lost.

There are less than ten minutes left for the final whistle and Real Madrid are maintaining their 2-0 lead against Atletico Madrid home. If they manage to win this game, they will keep the interval between them and Sevilla in the league table. And the point difference between them and Atletico Madrid will increase to 13 which must be really horrifying for Atletico. Atletico still have an absent game to be played but even if they win that one, they won't be able to decrease the gap to a value below 10 points.
