I'm not sure about that, even though Barcelona's performance has decreased this season but the reality is that currently Barcelona only has a gap of 2 points from Rayo Vallecano who fills the 4th place. That way, Barcelona doesn't lose the chance to finish in the top 4 and because of that too, I said before about Atletico and Barcelona who will still be strong contenders for the top four. I don't belittle the merit of the attack in the person of Vinicius and Benzema just a lot more depends on the midfield than he does on them. That's true. Even more than that , ratings are so low in LaLiga that people really gave up on their football and why is that ? Besides losing Cr7 and Messi , LaLiga became an old Serie A where we barely see goals and entertaining. Mainly due to real madrid lots schedules to be attended, something unexpected may occur. They might be failed to get full points the next few games and for sure, sevilla needs to play steadily good on the next upcoming games. But I guess, the race for the trophy is still alive. Totally agree, Barcelona right now are between a rock and a hardplace and their playing style has cost several drastic changes to their team which has seen a coach get sacked, a replacement to be called and still same result which hasnt got them some good results. Top four finish for these guys is gone because they are playing below average.

To be honest, I would prefer to see Sevilla lifting the La Liga trophy but the chances are with Real Madrid. Eight points of difference might not be enough, however, we are talking about Real a team full of experience top players. If Benzema continues playing to such high standards and Real make a good transfer, they will be the number one favorite for this season champion.
