Now, Sevilla will need to defeat Cadiz to keep the 5-point gap.

Benzema continues to do his job superbly. He scored two more goals in the Athletic Bilbao game and increased his La Liga goals in this season to 15. It hasn't been a long time since he became 34 years old. He still continues to give his best for Real Madrid. I really appreciate Real Madrid about not selling Benzema so far and making him a big part of the team all the time. And he thanks his club in this awesome way.

Maybe the influence of the heavy rain in the match made it difficult for sevilla to develop their game, indeed the draw was bad enough for sevilla who are clearly more favored but they were lucky to draw because they lost 1 player in that match due to  red card, in my opinion both teams in the match played quite badly and it can be said that the draw they got was a fair result for both teams.

To tell the truth, I was waiting for Sevilla to become victorious in this game. But Barcelona interestingly overwhelmed the game in the first and second half both. I haven't seen Barcelona this willing to win for a while. It is a good sign about them.

I expected Barcelona to take advantage of the red card Sevilla got in the second half. I literally thought Barcelona was going to score another goal, but their performance in this match was quite impressive. Although, Sevilla was the first to score, and were in a better position of winning, since it was their home match. Anyway, they tried by resisting Barcelona despite playing with 10 players. However, Barcelona needs to improve their performance, as they will be playing the Europe League.

Atletico Madrid are already out of the title race as it seems. Because their losing four times in a row in the league caused them to be seventeen points behind Real Madrid now. Of course, Atletico Madrid have an absent game and they can make the gap fourteen points if they win. But this doesn't still make a big difference obviously. They can at least focus on the best place that they can end the season at. There is logically no chance for them to defend their title unless there is a miracle in the remaining games.

He knows Real Madrid relies on him in scoring, so he always does his best in every match. Among all Real Madrid CFs, only Benzema who can score constantly during this season, Jovic and Diaz cannot show promising performance. Anyway, Benzema probably will be the top scorer in La Liga this season, there are no strong competitors on the top scorer list.

Benzema is a loyal player, that seems the main reason why he is always in Real Madrid lineup every season. When there is CR7 in Real Madrid, Benzema wants to play in whatever position instructed by the coach. He ever played as a left-winger or even a right-winger at that time. He didn't complain and refused the instruction, he only showed the coach his best. I assume this is one of the factors why Benzema can stay a long time in Real Madrid.

Real Madrid now are in very good position but it does not mean they already put their hands on La Liga title. In the past season, Atletico Madrid had a very good first half of season but they struggled to win in a second half of season. Then, we witnessed a very tight race for La Liga title till very last rounds between Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla. The title was given to Atletico Madrid in final day only.

It can happen again in this season if Real Madrid won't maintain their good performance.

true, as if there is no challenge when the gap between RMA and Sevilla is separated quite a lot, RMA will likely continue to slide in front when the standings below are competing for the best position. since there is no ronaldo and messi in Laliga it feels boring and the normally fierce El Clásico now tastes bland. The transfer of ronaldo and messi has definitely brought their fans to a new league and new team Is it possible that Laliga was abandoned by fans when the league was less attractive in international football.
