I really hoped to see Barcelona winning against Osasuna today. After a very fierce competition, Barcelona couldn't prevent a 2-2 draw. I really appreciate Osasuna's high effort here. Barcelona got ahead twice but Osasuna were still there to score the equalizer in both cases. I can't say that Barcelona deserved a win here. Because the statistics of these teams were similar to each other. The best result would be a draw with goals and that was what happened.

It was a well deserved draw for both teams since their performance was close barcelona defensive issues still coast them points and not to mention some questionable decisions in barcelona second goal since before that it should have been a penalty for osasuna that couldve changed the outcome.

I had an expectation like Real Madrid would become the winner by a one-goal gap but they got the win by two goals. Atletico Madrid couldn't even score one goal. They were literally helpless against Real Madrid in this away match. Diego Simeone must be really uncomfortable with this result. It was obvious that Real Madrid were the closer team to win considering their recent form. But a team like Atletico Madrid should have been able to fight back against them.

vinicius did 2 assists in the 2 goals for madrid and that was incredible

actually in the last minute, Atl Madrid already had a chance to score a goal but the free-kick was not a difficult thing for madrid, a pretty good match

However, when Messi still was in Barcelona, its performance wasn't as bad as today. We cannot deny that Messi has a big role in Barcelona gameplay. At least, having Messi in the club makes Barcelona attacking line is stronger than today.

Real Madrid attackers aren't very strong, only Benzema who can regularly score. Even Benzema isn't a typical player who can constantly score many goals like Ronaldo and Messi. Maybe Benzema has no target to be a top scorer, he only wants to lead his team to win. Moreover, Real Madrid defenders aren't quite strong after Ramos and Varane left the club. This probably makes them hard to win with a big goal margin. 

Looks like you no longer following La Liga that much. Benzema has actually been so good and reliable.. He has contributed approximately 34% of Real Madrid's goals. Why should we have to compare very one to Ronaldo and Messi?

Vinicius Jr has also been on fire.
So far, after 17 matches. Benzema leads the pack with 13 goals and 7 assists. Second is Vini Jr 10 goals and 4 assists. The guys have so far been very reliable. Ramos and Varane are history now. The team has to move on and the current defenders aren't bad.

Barcelona is now 15 points away from Real Madrid with equal number of match played and they have 5 points difference from ATM in the 4th place.
Assuming they will improve after the next transfer window, if they could sign anyone BTW, I doubt they will be able to get the first two spots. Finishing the race even 4th will be an achievement, otherwise welcome EL or worst?

To date, Barcelona has scored exactly 50% of the possible points (16 games and 24 points scored out of 48). Considering that almost half of the championship is behind, the degree of improvement in the game needed to compete for the first two places should be gigantic. No matter what transfers Barcelona will carry out, this is already unrealistic. Keeping in mind the dire financial situation that Barcelona is in, I am starting to fear that next season they will not play in the Champions League even in the group stage.

I started thinking that they should win EL to be able to play in CL next season.. Still not desperate situation there but you fail to find an imaginable way to rebuild the team. Even Xavi mentioned once that Barca needs to recruit few players to be able to compete. What I am afraid for is to see them getting kicked from CL and playing in Conference League. I don't think it will happen but couldn't say it isn't possible

You're right we didn't see Atlético playing at its best even though this game is important for them totally beyond expectation
Maybe this is the effect of Suarez not being in the line up as we know Suarez is Atletico's top scorer without Suarez, Atletico's game has changed

Actually, now it's just the middle of the championship and a lot can change, but it's really not yet clear how and due to what Barcelona will give out a big winning streak and return to the leading positions. Maybe Xavi did not fully imagine the problems he had to face at the club. On the one hand, such chances as working as a head coach in Barcelona are not scattered. On the other hand, this can ruin a coaching career and can be fraught with a loss of self-confidence and coaching authority. Maybe Xavi was in vain and it was worth trying his hand at clubs with a lower rank from the top European championships to practice coaching skills, because Qatar is a little different conditions.

Osasuna vs Barcelona match was a big disappointment for me. I was really believing that Barcelona would be the winner here

If you checked the previous discussion here, many people didn't expect much on Barcelona to win the match. We were already disappointed after the loss of Barcelona in the previous match. We all know the previous match was in Camp Nou. While against Osasuna, Barcelona will play away. Sure the chance to win should be smaller here.

Yep. They dominated the match. I assume this is because Ancelloti released the right players as the starters. So, they can win the fight on midfield by putting Kroos and Modric together. While they also can attack aggressively by putting Benzema-Vinicius-Asensio. I am very satisfied with the starting players selection in this match. In my opinion, it is the best lineup of Real Madrid.

Real Madrid became like PSG in ligue 1, they dominated the league, and for me La Liga is secured, Benzima and Asensio secured the win, without forgetting about Vinicius who made two assists, it is great to see Asensio getting back to shape after the injury, he is such a talented player and one of my favorites, he scores such magnificent goals out of nowhere, long distance shots for him are like shots from the penalty box for a lot of players, Real Madrid have a terrifying squad right now.

Actually, now it's just the middle of the championship and a lot can change, but it's really not yet clear how and due to what Barcelona will give out a big winning streak and return to the leading positions.

I'm fairly convinced that this is Real Madrid's season to lose. They will likely drop more points towards the end but other big teams are also struggling so I doubt they could really catch up. Barcelona can add all the players they want once the transfer window opens but they cannot produce results right away. They will have a better chance next season,

Real Madrid are now unbeaten in 11 league games versus Atletico Madrid. Ruling at the Derby proceeds, and Real Madrid have effectively won the league now. Real Madrid crown themselves kings of the city, 13 points ahead of ATM and 18 points ahead of Barcelona. Here, I assume to accept that Real Madrid is gradually transforming into Bayern as opposed to calling PSG.

Atletico played very differently from the previous season, the previous season Atletico's defense was very difficult to penetrate by the opposing team.
So from 38 matches in La Liga, Atletico only suffered 4 defeats and became the team with the fewest goals conceded. But this season it is very difficult
for Atletico to win, Atletico have even lost 3 times in 16 matches. It looks like Atletico are unlikely to win the La Liga trophy this season, the chances
are very small, moreover the difference in points with Real Madrid is very far away. For Atlético to be in the top 4 this season is already very good

Real Madrid is the strongest candidate in Laliga this season because it is quite consistent with wins and full points. The quality of the players is the reason why it can be done easily while other team are not as strong as Madrid today.

Meanwhile, today the draw will take place and I think there is a possibility that Inter or a weaker team will be their next opponent in the Champions League compared to PSG. If it's PSG I think it's great, but if it's Chelsea then the final match will be in the Champions League this season early.
