Atletico Madrid are just in a terrible situation now. They lost all of their last four games in the La Liga. They even let Granada make a comeback against them. I really wonder how Atletico Madrid are going to find a way out of this poor shape. And Real Madrid continue from where they left. They are leading by 2-1 against Athletic Bilbao now. And I think they will win this one and atone for the point loss vs Cadiz.

I have always said it, ATM cannot put up a nice competition against Real Madrid. Madrid's only known rival is Barcelona. Now that Barcelona is below the bar, Real Madrid will win the title.
I said this because, when you take a look at the table you will discover that Betis, Rayo and Sevilla are above ATM. And non of these three clubs can put up a pressure against Real Madrid till the end of the season.

And Real Madrid continue from where they left. They are leading by 2-1 against Athletic Bilbao now. And I think they will win this one and atone for the point loss vs Cadiz.

I had a bet of both team to score and I won that one. Now that there's a chance of the match getting drawn and the odd is quite good, I just took the chance LOL and placed a bet for a drawn. I know it's not going to be easy as the way Athletic Club is now playing but it's very possible; after all, it's all about 1 single goal now LOL. Let's see what happen.

FCB has passed its golden time and they aren’t even close to get back such time anytime soon; not at least in this decade. If we look back at FCB's history, they are same as they were before their prime time in the last two decades. If Granada wants to win they should score early in the second half or else ATM might gets the lead again. I find ATM more dangerous in the last 10 minutes, they tends to score at the end of the game generally.

I know Atletico always score in the last minute but not this season they did it last season. Now Granada have 10 minutes to seal the win
after scoring the 2nd goal in the 63'' minute, this win takes Granada up 3 places to 12th  at least temporarily safe from the relegation zone.

Granada just did what I said and scored early. That was an unfortunate ending for ATM which is in awkward situation just like Sociedad BTW, letting their CL spots vanish, at least temporarily...

Sevilla were in even more trouble with 10 players after Jules Kunde get a red card and was sent off in the second half. They have only resisted the onslaught of Barcelona. However, Sevilla's defense was admirable.

I assume after missing Kunde, Sevilla coach applied a defensive strategy. Unfortunately, a defensive strategy isn't the right choice to deal with Barcelona players who totally control the game. Barcelona became more offensive and create 23 shots. Luckily, Sevilla defenders are quite strong and Barcelona attackers still cannot get the right way to score effectively.

By the way, Atlético lost today for the 4th time in a row in La Liga  
I don't know when this happened the last time, but I saw information that three defeats in a row were already 10 years ago.

Yep. We rarely saw Atletico defeated in a row more than twice, while this time it was already 4 times.

I agree that the Bilbao vs Real Madrid match was very interesting, because in that match 3 goals were created in just 10 minutes. After the next
80 minutes there were no more goals scored, and both teams also played quite well and created some chances. Statistically, Real Madrid had more

Real Madrid are at the stage at which dropping points seems to be a sin to them. They don't want to drop points at all,knowing fully well that if they do,they might start a losing streak.

Atlético seem to be an easy team to concede this season and it's a shame the defense that was in the past few seasons was very strong, but this season Atletico's performance in attack and defense has been poor. If it continues like this, previously the problem was only with rivals Barcelona, then it is very possible that over time until the end of the season we will see where Barcelona will shift Atletico's position. It's a shame of course, but if these two teams can really recover for the rest of the season then of course they still have a chance to fill the top 4 with Madrid and Sevilla.

Regarding Benzema's current performance I agree he is really outstanding without the presence of CR7, but this is not a factor without CR7 on the pitch I think Carlo Ancelotti has polished it better this season, even when ronaldo was around benzema was already a good striker.

Benzema has always been a great stricker and it seems his strick had to improve this season keeping Real Maldrid at the top of the league. Would say Ronaldo was his major set back to some extent it looks Pretty much true but that didn't stop him even when Ronaldo played alongside him. I don't think it's like that, when they were together in real madrid with the BBC trio (Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo) actually Benzema also appeared quite good but indeed his popularity and goal instinct did lose to Ronaldo but did not consider it an obstacle because of Benzema's performance still good.
For now Ronaldo is no longer around, Bale's performance is uncertain and now it's rarely used in the Madrid line-up, so automatically the focus of all players is on Benzema and this is what makes him a priority now.
