I think they are not in that much of a difficult position in CL despite the defeat. They just need a win to secure the spot in my opinion. Barcelona and Porto are on 9 and as you said Shakhtar is also closing up but Barcelona and Porto both have huge goal difference as compared to Shakhtar's so as long as Shakhtar doesn't wins their fixtures with Porto and Antwerp with huge difference I don't think it's a worrying situation but that too considering that Barcelona wins at least one. They will easily qualify, Shakhtar were a bit lucky and defended well throughout the end but apart from that Barca has the quality and I think they will easily advance to next stage from their CL group.

If Girona maintains their current form, they will be able to maintain their first-place position for an extended period of time, possibly even beyond the first half of the season. Girona has surprised many people by topping the league table so quickly, especially as the competition heats up. I don't have a problem with their current performance, but maintaining that performance and remaining in first place is something I doubt they can do. Matches in the Champions League are difficult to predict because after all, if we consider logically playing against Shakhtar Donetsk still makes Barcelona can fail to get points. Jude Bellingham has been excellent and Real Madrid would need a new natural striker. What's with the news of drawing back from signing Kylian Mbappe?  I don't want to believe this news until it's time for the transfer window.

The defeat is a reflection of their true strength in this season and how Barcelona have started the season on the wrong note and seeing that everything is happening with their current performance,  it also shows that their previous success in the league was solely based on luck and nothing more and if care is not taken,  the club may have a hard time in the season considering their present performance and what are the clubs that are on the line up for them in the next round of this season.

Even if that is true, Girona is the only team to have only lost 4 points from 12 matches so far. Real Madrid and Barcelona's performance is not too bad, but Girona is still better in terms of current performance. Barcelona is the most inconsistent team of the three, but the points gap between them is not that different.

I think that Barcelona’s chances are about 90%, but still some interesting options may arise: for example, if Porto wins against Barcelona in the next game with a difference of at least two goals, and Shakhtar wins against Antwerp, then in the last round nothing at all will depend on Barcelona ! Shakhtar's victory in the game with Porto will take Porto and Shakhtar into the 1/8.
