Todays matches in La liga goes a long way for both barcelona and real madrid because the el clasico holds next weekend at santiago bernabeu.
I think the match today will result in a win for both barcelona and madrid, while valencia looks set to suffer another defeat.

Against the odds, i see barcelona drawing at home against eibar.

Just like you predicted the match indeed ended as  5 - 0 victory for Barcelona.

The match come at almost the perfect time, just a few days to the Champions knockout 1st leg fixture against Napoli and just a week to the next El Classico showdown versus Real Madrid, Barcelona couldn't have looked for a better instance to put out a great performance after series unconvincing results.

Other observations are that Messi was really sharp today and is likely very ready for the most important part of the season matches that would be taking place henceforth and Braithwaite also looked ready to spark into life at Barcelona, and there is a glimmer of hope that he won't end up like the likes of Boateng, he was involved in both of the last 2 goals just after coming off the bench.

The great performance that Messi has shown for Barcelona against "EIBAR" is truly remarkable. Barcelona have reached the number one position only because of Messi's performance. It must have been a cause for concern for Real Madrid. If Messi continuously able to perform such kind of stormy performance then the La Liga title will surely go on the favor of Nou Camp.

Barca just trashed Eibar 5:0. Messi haven't scored in few last rounds, but today he just exploeded - he scored poker. Braithwaite had solid debut today, despite that he didn't scored. Now Barca in a good mood can go into Naples for Champion league game.
Rel didn't managed to score against Levante. And on 79 minute Morales scored for Levante in transition - what a shot it was!

What's happening with Real Madrid? I'm surprised to see that Real is defeated by Levante, 0-1 today. Even Real has made 19 shots and 7 shots on target but no goal at the end. How bad the performance of Real Madrid today! I don't know why they play very ineffective and wasted lots of opportunities. I think Real needs a new top striker in the next season unless something like this will return.

Yeah, Benzema and Hazard (he just came from an injury tho) were horrendous in front of goal. Although i'm used to Benzema being shite in front of goal, i knew his good form was going to end sooner or later, it always does...

Best weekend for Barcelona so far in this season. Seriously, 2 weeks ago, Barca was an absolute shitshow, they had a full-on crisis within the club, rumours about Messi leaving, 3 points behind RM who were on an unbeaten run, the team was playing like shit...

And now, all of a sudden, Barca are league leaders, in form and motivated before El Clasico because a win means a 5 point lead, Messi on fire...Just wtf? As a Real Madrid fan, i feel like i just got hit by a truck and i never saw it coming...just wtf happened?

It's no longer a surprise to me. Real Madrid have been inconsistent since the start of the season. Games that you expect them to easily win are the games that they tend to disappoint. If they had won today, they would've gone to the top of the la liga table. I agree with you. They need new strikers not just a striker. Plus Madrid's midfield needs a breath of fresh air.

Such bet makes sense. Sevilla have terrible period and haven't won any games for almost month. If they will lose tomorrow, it can be last game for Lopetegui.

I like the intensity of Barcelona attacks in the first round because they displayed interesting games in their own style and were rather boring in the second half although there were 4 or 5 goals that occurred and 3 of them were disallowed by the referee because of offside and violations by Eibar on the Pique.

I enjoyed this match last night and overall Barcelona is very ready to play the next two heavy matches versus Napoli at UCL and Real Madrid in La Liga.

Yeah, it is only Benzema who has good intelligence on the other front lines but it still cannot be relied on, Real Madrid only has a lot of midfielders so it is not focused on the front lines when substitute Benzema but I do not know the rumors about the purchase of the following players Will talented players be anchored at Real Madrid?

Recently Valencia is not in good condition. I saw this match yesterday in CL Valencia losing to Atalanta with a big score of 4-1 and this is really embarrassing for the fans and last night losing again to Sociedad 3-0 without a return goal who knows what happened with Valencia always losing with a big loss in the form of scores.
But Sociedad is also now in 4th place at LaLiga which means he has become a strong Spanish club team at the moment.

Finally, Barcelona returned to the position of First blessing defeat that was received by Real Madrid.
Even Levante seemed to be the lucky one, because Real Madrid really dominated the match. But in reality can not make a goal and in the end those who lose goals. That is indeed a shame for Real Madrid.

My best Sunday in a long time! I didn't even check or watch La Liga or even could not go online for more than 24 hours and I come back and see Messi 4 goals AND Real lose.

Back on top, Barca, and I truly wasn't expecting it at all until the next El Clasico. I don't want to hope too much but this is awesome news really.

And not City will feel the wrath.
