But at PSG he has suffered a lot of injuries. He has been at PSG for 4 years. Neymar has played only 70 out of around 150 matches in 4 seasons. He has played in less than half of the matches. Hazard, on the other hand, has played 30 matches for Real Madrid in two years. However, we must remember that the salaries of Neymar and Hazard are not equal. Neymar's salary is too high.

Ok I must confess I didn't know that Neymar's list of injuries was so long and severe in Paris. Usually when you watch the games he is on the pitch most of the time, at least it seemed to be the case to me. Anyway, Neymar's salary in Paris is a joke as much as the transfer fee for him was a joke.

If we look at the quality and achievements of the top clubs in the leagues the Spanish teams have dominated English teams. Even if we look at top English clubs going against the challengers in Spanish football they have lost. Sevilla and Athletico have a good record against english teams.

I still think that Neymar played the most important games and that is very important, and getting injured is not something a team or a player can foresee beforehand, you just happen to get injured and that's it. Plus Neymar was seen as "the" player after Messi/Ronaldo period, when you get the best player in the world then you pay both his club and himself a lot of money.

36 million is not really that high if you ask me considering Messi still gets 50 million at his age, Messi currently is not better player than Neymar THAT much, you can argue if he is still better or not, but if you give Neymar than do you agree that Messi is twice as better? I do not think so. Neymar is a world star and just his name still sells jerseys so I believe that paying him a lot of money makes sense. I heard Liverpool offer 42 million £ which is a good amount, if they sell him I don't think Atletico have hard times replacing Saul. We know they can find young talents and make them shine.
