I honestly think that this is the best case for Barcelona and its future, people are sad that he is leaving and I understand it, of course it is something sad for the football world to see him leave, but at the same time he was a very expensive player getting way too much salary. I dont think Aguero can leave Barcelona now.He has signed a contract with them so i think even if he wants to leave he cant.Messi leaving the club is probobly the biggest news in this summer transfer window.I think he will join PSG but still the French league is really weak.Would like to see him in the Premier league.

I would really like to see Messi performing in the English Premier League as it is the most challenging league in Europe I think. So I would expect him to go to Manchester City. But Guardiola doesn't seem to be thinking of this transfer. That's why I started thinking that PSG are closer to signing him soon. PSG are a really strong team but their league is so boring to me. I am very surprised by the news that Messi has decided not to renew his contract at Barcelona. This is very bad news for the supporters and also for the team itself. La Liga should not launch a local Financial Fair Play that harm their league and local clubs. Real Madrid might have worse financial sheet than Barcelona and salary budget because they are constructing a new stadium. Perhaps, they have better income from 3 Champions League titles.

@blackened515 I don’t know why but I feel that this was a planned script, Messi got his revenge by removing the ex president, the current president promised Messi to allow him to part in a way which would not look bad on Messi, and in the process he removed Messi’s huge wages from the club bill so a win - win for them.

Also I know many won’t agree with my words, but according to Barcelona they suddenly realised at this stage of the window that it was not possible to keep Messi, and this is a ridiculous claim but they accept us to believe it that they didn’t know about their own financial situation till now.
