In my opinion, Real Madrid is in the best position among the teams currently in La Liga. But they won the Champions League trophy a few days ago with few stars. Real Madrid already occupy the top position in the points table with the most points in La-Liga. They are capable of fighting any club but very hard.

I mean we have lots of expectations from Barcelona in the coming season and and sunday 24th july been club friendlies between Barcelona and Real Madrid will give a glimpse of what we should be expecting from both club by next season. Real Madrid were excellent last season but i bet they will have a more difficult season this time

This season will be very difficult for Real Madrid and Barcelona since literally every point counts to determine which team could get the lead and keep it till the end!
Real Madrid reinforced their defence line so far this window but Barcelona made signing to improve all lines especially their attack. If we take on consideration how good Barcelona played since Xavi joined them then I am not that sure that Real Madrid could lead this season.

There is a possibility for Edinson Cavani to join Villarreal in a short time. He was rumoured with the Italian club Monza before but now there is a bigger chance for him to sign for Villarreal. There are many strikers at Villarreal now actually. There are five centre-forwards now so I'm not sure if it is good for them to sign another one now. I don't think that they are thinking of Cavani in the starting eleven. They can do this by only preferring a formation that consists of two strikers.

What I like about this match is that even though they are very seeded and indeed in terms of quality they won absolutely but they dare to try a lot of schemes and players and I like to see Gavi, Ansu Fati and Memphis playing there.
Although the league title is still uncertain, Ansu and Gavi are potential young players, on the other hand there seems to be something good for Memphis.

That's right Ansu and Gavi are young potential players, I also view the goal that Ansu had contributed in this friendly match, I like that he succeeded with just the right level of accuracy. Even though this is a friendly match, I am very satisfied when I see this team cohesiveness is getting more strong than before, maybe it would be very interesting if Barcelona won by a landslide against Real Madrid in friendly match later.

I think that's right. Xavi brought a good difference to Barcelona's performance and he has proven that throughout his tenure last season.

This season some of their signings are looking very good especially after Kessie, Christensen, Lewandowski, Dembele and Raphinha were registered. The depth of the Barcelona squad is starting to get better even though some of these players were brought in without a transfer fee. There is hope this season for them about the title race, so I think Real Madrid should be wary of that.

Real Madrid was at their best just because of this they won double in last season and good thing they have their squad strength still on because no big changes happened, but they have done some good changes in their bench power which is going to bring more strength because with current transfer window working it's not easy for them to stay at top and compete with Barcelona which are investing big amount on all ways of their squad and have few quality players which are at their peak of game which can bring good challenge for all teams in La Liga and Champions League but still it's not easy because having all stars in one team is also not working for few teams without better strategy.

Yep, this will most likely happen in the near future and it is reported that Cavani has signed a pre-deal with Villarreal and is now busy looking for a place to live closest to the La Ceramica stadium.
As for the matter of the starting line-up, I still feel that he will only be a substitute for Arnaut Danjuma who will certainly remain in the core striker next season if he does not leave Villarreal.

Well Xavi has done a good job in laliga and making it into the top league from a really bad position. But he couldnt go far in the Europa League and a team such as Barcelona needs to go into at least final or win it. Europa League shouldnt be hard for them but yet they didnt win it. Now we will see them in next season if they can go far in the champions league

Barcelona are really perfect in a special way after an easy win against the MLS club. It's was a thrilling 6-0 win. I was quite impressive with the performance they put up. I think Xavi is probably using this period to select his best first 11 players before the start of the season. If both teams release their main players, I am sure this match will be interesting. However, I really doubt it will happen, Ancelotti probably put most substitution players in the lineups. While for Barcelona, they may release the full team (main players), especially those new players.
