I don’t think it is going to be worth spending time and money to get either Luis Suarez or Cristiano Ronaldo right now. Especially if they are planning for the long term because neither of these players will be able to provide service for a long time.

Now they are obviously going to benefit greatly if they bring in either of these players for one or two seasons. One season in the case of Luis Suarez in my opinion. But nothing long-term.

They have been very passive this season but indeed they are also not in good finance so it is quite difficult for them to be able to do much in this transfer window.
I think next season their movement will be a little different in La Liga because regardless of what now Simeone also actually doesn't have very good relations with some players if we look at this season.

Their first target has been Kounde and they are waiting for him to decide where he wants to go between Barcelona and Chelsea. This must really be unacceptable for Manchester United. Ronaldo might be waiting to hear from Atletico Madrid now. However it doesn't seem like Atletico Madrid will go for signing him also. His salary is very expensive when we think about his age now. I think that they can find a more sensible player by paying much less money. As for Azpilicueta, this transfer would depend on whether Chelsea can find an alternative for him. He isn't an unimportant player for the team now in the end.
