I'm actually worried about Celta Vigo rather than Malloca, the defeat they just got has made them fail to improve their ranking. Being in 16th position with 17 points does not guarantee that Celta Vigo will stay in La Liga. The difference in points with the teams in the Relegation Zone is quite close, Celta Vigo has played 18 games, while Real Valladolid, Cadiz and Sevilla have only played 17 matches.
Sevilla looking to get out of the Relegation Zone can be a threat to Celta Vigo. They could fall into the Red Zone if they don't put in their best form in this side this season.

Celta have something to worry about, next 4 games in La Liga they will have very difficult opponents: Athletic, Betis, Atletico and Sociedad are all from top of the table and most likely they will not earn many points in these matches. Sevilla (with the exception of Barcelona) will have much easier opponents, so Sevilla should score points, being in the relegation zone is inappropriate for such a team. But they will also start EL matches soon, this is an additional burden on the team.

I do agree that there is a bit of a tough spot for them but at the same time if you are a team that is going to have hard time with beating your opponents, then you should be relegating to start off with. I mean as a team all you need is about 10 wins out of 30-40 games, which is not really that hard, and you could lower that and have some more draws instead, which would help you to stay as well.

I guess that the best thing for a team that can't reach those levels would be relegating and then rebuilding the team from cheaper but more fired up players and get back on the league again. Celta looks like they are not good at all right now, maybe a year or two at second division would help.

I think Atletico's defense is still normal because Valladolid himself doesn't have many attacks and Valladolid doesn't have more frequent attacks, so Atletico's defense this match remains safe. Simeone will be leaving at the end of the season, It has already been said. I agree with you, the team needs changes. Aside from the inconsistency, the way they play is a hindrance to them, especially against big teams. They tend to be too defensive and respect the opponent a bit too much. They are in no position to play that type of football, they have so many attacking-minded players to play football like that. I respect Simeone for all he has done for that team and he's a legend but they need some things to change, like the way they approach games.
Except he (Simeone) wants to rest for a while, finding a new job won't be a problem for him. He's a good coach but at this point in his career, pathing ways with Atletico is best for both parties.

Sevilla's form is very scary indeed and they had better hurry about fixing their issues. They are getting bigger and bigger in time otherwise. We are like in the middle of the season but they are still under the risk of relegation. Truthfully I really don't know what they need to do. They changed their coach but nothing is different. Then I say that the players are the problem. I can't say that the quality of the squad is bad because there are very capable players in it.

It must be related to their morale but I don't know how they still can't motivate themselves to get away from this threat in the standings. I hope the Cadiz match ends up with a victory for Sevilla and it helps them improve their effort.

20 minutes of running time there have been no goals scored so far but it's interesting to see Cadiz's performance in this match because indeed during these 20 minutes there was at least 1 chance they got even though this wasn't too threatening but this was pretty good for their start.
The chance of a draw is huge in my opinion but if Cadiz can play more disciplinedly I think this will be a narrow win for Cadiz even though they continue to survive in this match.

A magnificent victory that will give Real strength and self-confidence. A second loss in a row and elimination from the tournament would have been a big blow, but once again an epic comeback and Real Madrid avoided such a deep failure in such a short period of time. I'm very happy for Vinicius - he scored the most important goal that was the start of this comeback and it was a good response to the criticism that has been heard towards him lately.

Yesterday we have two matches which were play on same tempo and have similar results as well, but I was not expecting result like this from Real Madrid because they already lost their match against same opponent few days back in La Liga match and now things were not good for them, but they have done amazing fight back announce about their strength as well which could be surely now understandable for many these were feeling they are already out of the competition.

After trailing by two goals at the end of the first half Real Madrid and Manchester City both fights back in style and win their respective matches which is surely impressive from these both teams which are already on same level in their respective leagues and now have same challenge after few days in Champions League hopefully things could be good and favourable for them to win their challenging matches and qualification of the next round.

Imagine my feelings last night: I see a 0-2 result for Real Madrid and I think "is it really a deep crisis and the season will be a failure?". At the same time, I see the result 0-2 for City and I think: "how good, I hope this defeat completely ruins their chances for the title." And in the end, everything turns upside down in both games.

Atletico Madrid got a very comfortable win and took a deep breath. But this shouldn't cause them to be complacent even a little. They need to make a huge improvement in their form to be more convincing. It is for their sake considering the Champions League ticket. They can't afford staying out of top four area at the end of the season. They are already having a bad season in general.

I think they will stay in top four at the end but the fans wouldn't be very contented with this effort anyway. Let's see what Atletico Madrid board think of doing in this summer.
