If indeed it was Simeone's choice not to buy many players in the summer it means he has established a team. The current squad is good enough to compete next season which might be a lot of tough competition, although they couldn't get rid of Madrid and Barcelona at the top of the standings last season at least they got UCL tickets and stayed in the top four of the standings.
