Since mbappe has been on the pipeline to resume at Real Madrid when the deal is done in the next couple of days to come,  he will be a good replacement for Benzema who has been a very strong pillar for Real Madrid since he came to the club.

Vini and Rodrygo will still be the first choice but their job will be to rattle the defence with their pace on the flanks. Another possible option for me at the moment would be a trio of Vini, Rodrygo and Valverde in attack but this would mean Ancelotti would have to make Rodrygo more than he was this season in terms of performance.

This has been implemented in a number of matches this season, but the results don't seem to satisfy Ancelotti because, as you said, when you really want to make some breakthroughs, especially the new trio in attack with Rodrygo as the foundation for scoring goals, he really needs to be honed even more in terms of instinct.

Barcelona is much better because of Lewandowski, while Madrid is very doubtful even though we have Rodrygo and Vinicius.

Real Madrid need a better striker than Joselu, but I don't see them in too much of a rush to do it. That's what I'm saying. Joselu performed well against a weak squad like Espanyol. He seems to be better off with a world-class and experienced squad like Real Madrid. But first of all, Joselu has to adapt well to Ancelotti's match strategy. We will not get a better performance from Joselu if he does not adapt himself well to the match strategy. Maybe, Mbappe can become Karim Benzema's successor. because Mbappe meets the requirements and capacities he has with the talent and skills he has.
