I agree with you, we know that Girona is quite easy to beat by teams that are much stronger than them. We know that Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico will not let Girona lead the standings arbitrarily, so they could become a direct threat in the hunt for the championship trophy this season. On the one hand, Girona looks like they will be able to finish in the top four of the standings when the season ends, this can clearly be seen from the way they have secured 3 points in every match they have played.

Maybe the luck they have now is due to the lack of injured players, and the small number of matches they have, so they are able to be like today. The competition will be fiercer when the season enters the second half, we will see whether Girona can overcome the heavier pressure there, personally I doubt that.

Robert Lewandowski is a great player, very good and very prolific stricker.
I am very sorry that this season isnt at his best, given that in my opinion last year he deserved the Golden Ball.

I agree with you 100 percent and I have  also spoke highly about Lewandowski but the managers and fans won't give much listening ears to this because of their huge expectations which is vested on their interest in the victory of the club. That is what is more important to many now not his past glory per say. Barcelona is in dire need of that well-experienced finisher who will always strike in their goals at the moment and Lewandowski was meant to fill in that position, unfortunately, his underperformance have created that little gap that is frustrating the club lately. It's around 6 games now with no single goal.

That's what I expect from Lewandowski. His performance dropped slightly at the start of this season, but of course fans are still optimistic that Lewandowski can improve his form as the competition progresses. The season is still very long and of course that could give him a good opportunity to improve. The problem that needs to be avoided is a recurrence of injury, that would ruin whatever he wants this season.

This week Barcelona plays at home to host Alaves. After losing 1-0 to Shakhtar in the Champions League, Barcelona seemed to have to force themselves to win against Alaves. The points gap between Barcelona, Real Madrid and Girona is 2 and 4, so Barcelona should be able to maintain this distance without much pressure.

However, when Lewandowski plays it will be a particular concern for the opposing defense. and that creates extra security for him. and that attracted several players to stop Lewandowski's movement. there it will create a gap which should provide an opportunity for other players to score.

Girona started this season in La Liga with victories and found themselves in first place in the standings. I think they will try to stay in the lead for as long as possible. This is a big problem for Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid. Girona play only in La Liga and that is their advantage.

Athletic Club seems to be in better shape compare to Celta Vigo, with the performance of the host (Athletic Bilbao) I don't see the visitors (Celta Vigo) coming close in getting a draw in this game and it seems to be a game the home side would get at least 3 goals getting past the goalkeeper of the visitors.
With Celta Vigo doing extremely poor this season and sitting at the relegation zone I can't see them holding Athletic Bilbao to a draw at halftime but if they succeed in doing so, I feel that alone can build their momentum in going into the second half, but to me, I'll give the home side the winning in this encounter.

There is no doubt that Athletic Club will win this match and get 3 points, they have performed quite well so far, ranking 5th with quite a lot of total goals. On the other hand, Celta Vigo is ranked 18th in the La Liga standings with 7 points.

Logically, Athletic Club must win because this match is also a home match for them, but we also can't underestimate Celta Vigo, they're only 2 points behind Mallorca, of course this will be a source of encouragement for them to get back outside the relegation zone.

Lewandowski wants a new challenge and that is one of the reasons why he is willing to move to Barcelona. Lewandowski is not only leaving for something that is difficult to achieve or something impossible, but he has contributed greatly to Barcelona's achievements last season with two domestic titles.

Lewandowski was La Liga's top scorer last season with Barcelona and he had a fantastic first season as La Liga's most prolific centre-forward last season. This season his performance has dropped somewhat considering the low number of goals he has scored, but this season is still too long to expect him to return to his best form again.

The Blaugrana do win games but it's purely struggle throughout the duration of these games. Barcelona are in good form but they keep struggling to win games, they're absolutely not the formidable Barcelona we all knew, alot of things have changed for the club. Where did Xavi Hernandez keep the old version of Robert Lewandowski because the current attacker in Barcelona frontline have absolutely nothing compared to the experience fired Lewandowski. Speaking of the current attacker, it's the new rebrand version of the Poland International who's absolutely not in good form and easily dispossessed the ball away from his control.

Last season they only cared about the league, and that's how they won, plus Lewandowski situation is new, he normally scores very well and him failing to score is something new. So all in all, I think it is going to be quite difficult situation to be in, and lets see how it will go on about.

I agree with you, Lewandowski has gone through six matches without scoring a goal, is he still worthy of being Xavi first choice on Barcelona front line, of course the answer is yes. Who else has the most experience in the current Barca squad when it comes to scoring goals, Lewandowski is the player Xavi most hopes will do this.

The defeat against Shakhtar Donetsk was surprising, but I don't think Lewandowski was to blame. Barrenness in scoring goals often happens to all strikers, they need momentum to get back on track.

This season Lewandowski had suffered an injury, perhaps this has affected his performance on the field. But that doesn't mean his thirst for goals has decreased, I don't see it that way. There are still many matches ahead, we will soon see his action in scoring goals.

Really curious to see their performance drop because so far they have won 10 of 12 matches. Girona only lost to Real Madrid and only drew once against Real Sociedad, this proves that they have something else to rely on. I certainly agree that a team like Girona will not be leading the standings for long, unless Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid cannot overtake them due to poor performance.

We might be surprised if Girona can create a points gap with other competitors of 6 to 8 points, but I'm not sure that will happen. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are better teams than Girona based on history, but Girona cannot be underestimated at all this season. Girona looks likely to lead the standings until the first half of the season is over, but of course I am curious to find out how they can maintain their consistency this season.

It is reported that Arda Guler suffered an injury before the match against Braga in the Champions League a few days ago and it does not appear to be a serious injury. Ancelotti said that the injury suffered by Arda Guler previously had recurred and he did not want to force the Turkish wonderkid to play for Real Madrid in the near future. Ancelotti seems to be very protective of his player and does not want a similar incident to result in him having to suffer another long injury. Considering that this week is the last La Liga match before all the players return for the international break, it seems that Arda Guler will have quite a long 2 weeks to rest before he makes his debut with Real Madrid.

True that, he's had a great campaign last season and contributed to the club winning the La Liga trophy last season. I believe age has come to affect his game. That should be one of the factors to look at regarding the drop and decline of Robert Lewandoski form.
Secondly, how many chances have been created for Robert Lewandoski? One of his success at Bayern Munich was his ability to take chances and score too many tap in goals. How many chances have been created for him?!

Players like Raphina, Lamal, and Ferran Torres are all greedy players, they barely play to instructions, they all want to play to score rather than see their number nine score. During Lewandoski's days at Munich, Gnabry, Sane, Thomas Muller and Joshua Kimmich all worked to see him score. It's much more different here at Barcelona. He has five goals, enough chance to close up first place Jude Bellingham with ten goals.

Age has its own effect in every player's performance. Sometimes the age effects may not be as visible as it ought to as in the case of Ronaldo, for Lewandowski his age effect is seen join his performance as his agility and balling efforts have reduced, We won't blame it all on age though because sometimes a striker who delivers rightly in his previous teams, comes to a new team and finds it hard to deliver. There's always a possibility that team work is leaking in that team.

 Bayern Munich adores coordination and bond in every of their game play, everyone knows their duty and delivers it right while Barcelona on the other hand, has players who are thirsty for goals even more than the striker, sometimes let's ask ourselves why a team from the defense to the midfield works a ball and delivers it to the trailer for finishing, why do these teams blossom, It's cos of team work, we can't have all the players in the team being stingy to themselves and wanting to make out a goal single handedly, It just won't work out fine.

And the team is trying their best to get out of the relegation zone, but they are not succeeding. The team has won only one out of 12 matches. Raphina honestly has changed how he played during his days in the Premier League. He was deadly and dangerous causing terror and hazards to defenders in the Premier League. He gave assist and created chances for Bamford as they both played for Leeds United.
Now with Barcelona, he has just been selfish all these while. He has failed to pass and create chances for Lewandoski for that alone makes him a better and beautiful player.

Felix has done well but hasn't scored too many goals. Though I believe he has linked up well with Robert Lewandoski in attack that any of the winger's Barcelona have. The player Lamal dame thing. They do not play business football.
The arrival of Frankie De Jong will bring balance to Barcelona midfielder's, Romeu has not done that for Barcelona. Frankie returns and they'll cook good football.

It is possible that Arda Guler will become injury prone if he experiences a relapse during his recovery period and of course this will continue to cut into his playing time while at Real Madrid. Even though this was his first season at Real Madrid, he was immediately greeted with a prolonged injury. Arda Guler got injured during a training session before this season started and I don't imagine if he plays in an official match it could be a bad thing if he gets injured again. However, I hope he will not become the next Hazard at Real Madrid and he must immediately recover from his injury as best as possible so that his career can also be in the spotlight.

As a coach, Xavi knows exactly what he has to do with his squad. The problem is, some injured players need time to fully recover. one of them who needs time is De Jong, the absence of this player has quite an impact on their performance, especially in the middle sector.
