Hmmm I am not sure about that. Girona is sort of a newcomer in that sense because nobody expected them to do as well as they are, but what are indicators in your opinion that they can't maintain that form in the second half of the season? Nobody can foresee the future, but I think this season the potential for Bellingham to reach out for all trophies with his team and also for the individual awards is tremendous if he plays like this for the entire season. If he keeps scoring at that rate he is literally competing with Haaland from Manchester City. Now imagine Real Madrid can win La Liga and the Champions League title and Bellingham finishes the season with something like 45 goals in 55 games or so, wouldn't he be a potential world player award winner? Given that he is not playing as a pure striker and yet he can keep up with the best strikers in Europe would be a good reason for me to take him onto the podium for those awards.

If Mbappe had been bought, this performance would probably have been expected from him. Bellingham is a great player. Despite his young age, he is doing great things for Real Madrid.
