Courtois suffered an ACL meniscus injury which required surgery again and it is reported that he has successfully survived the operation.

This is truly fatal for a main goalkeeper for a team as big as Real Madrid and he will certainly leave this season without ever playing for Real Madrid once. He needed another 2 months to recover from his injury after surgery and this was a very long time to pass. It's quite sad to hear this news and of course his recovery is something the medical team must pay full attention to. Luckily without Courtois, Real Madrid is having a very good season and Andrey Lunin as his replacement is doing his job very well. I'm curious whether Courtois will be able to return to his best performance after recovering or not.

I feel like even though he is a great goalkeeper, is there even a reason to keep hoping for him to return back? Real got a temporary solution for one year until he comes back, but I think it is time to look for a permeant one. I think he can make a comeback next season if they want to keep him, and I do think that they will do that for sure, he will definitely spend the next 5-6 months recovering and he will be much better, BUT does it really worth it?

Lewandowski is not a bad player, and Barcelona's desire to get rid of him this summer begs the question of who they have on the list or want to sign to replace him in the striking role. In his first season for Barcelona, he helped them to win La Liga and won the Best Scorer Award too. His contribution for Barcelona last season is amazing but he is already old and Barcelona actually aware that at his age, his contributions can suddenly drop a lot.

This season is going like this, he is older, get more injuries and has less appearances and contributions for Barcelona. With 13 goals scored for Barcelona in La Liga so far, it's not too bad stats from Lewandowski and he is only 3 goals less than Jude Bellingham.
