But there was a talk whether Barcelona can make the title race exciting again and honestly this game was a big disappointment in my opinion. How is it possible that Barcelona against a team that is one man down only wins 1-0? This has nothing to do with a superb Barcelona team. It was a shame and the fact that Las Palmas managed to shoot 8 times during the game whereas Barcelona only had 11 shots in contrast, I think this is quite revealing about their condition. Overall I am not too impressed with the Barcelona game and not surprised if they win because their opponents are Las Palmas and Barcelona playing at home so it's normal if Barcelona win. In my opinion, Barcelona should be able to score 3-4 goals because Las Palmas played with 10 players unfortunately Barcelona cannot take advantage of this opportunity. Yeah Barcelona managed to take the second place in the standings Barcelona is more deserved to get it than Girona.

I can't imagine how Barcelona will compete with Real Madrid next season when Real Madrid brings in young player like Mbappe, there is clearly no way to stop Real Madrid if Barcelona does not make changes in the upcoming transfer window.

It sounds very strange if Xavi is blamed for the decline in Barcelona's performance this season, the team management must actually be responsible because they did not provide full support for Xavi to build this team.

At the end of the season Xavi has decided to leave the team and I think that will make Barcelona very difficult and I think with their new coach next season they will not have a large percentage to be better than this season, I am very pessimistic about that.

Well they are a football club, and they sold their future revenues as well so not like that is going to mean something, but if they want to, they can get rid of half of their debt literally this summer. Would it be worth it?

I do not think so, but it is really not that impossible. How? Selling off players, they can sell Gavi, Pedri, Yamal, De Jong, Araujo, Raphinha, Kounde, Balde, Roque and more. That would mean at least 500 million in just one summer, or at least 500 million euro worth of assets on sale basically and could sell slowly with time because finding teams to pay that much may take some time. In the end, yes they do have a big debt, but they also have assets to pay half of it.
