According to UEFA rules no two clubs owned by one entity or it’s biggest share owned by one entity can compete in the same competition. According to multiple sources the Girona Football club is actually owned by the same Entity that owns Manchester city in EPL. This means that with the current rules and also current form of both clubs one wouldn’t get to compete in the champions league. But hopefully it is resolved so this club can enjoy the benefits of their struggle.
