Barcelona hasn't been in their best form and the set back of Barcelona started after they failed to win one of the El classico this season after which their performance now continued in a down ward experience up until this moment a d now they are literally struggling with average teams in the league buy then they have been able to actually now get back some little form which has managed them to getting to the second position on the table with 67 points as against the ones that Madrid has got ahead of them with 75 points, an eighth points difference between them both.

This alone is a reason to think why Barcelona may not be able to win Are Madrid to claim the trophy this season because the point difference is just too much and they have got only buy few games before the end of the season and there are no guarantee that Barcelona is going to win all of their next games rill the end neither is Madrid going to loose all of it will the end too aswell so they both of them may just be at thst position till the end of the league.

The next El Clasico won't impact very significant on the position of Real Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga standings. I think only Barcelona which may play all out because 3 points needed to stay in 2nd place. Barcelona may do extra efforts but Real Madrid doesn't want to be defeated at home. Moreover, there will be tough matches in UCL, too. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid must keep the fitness of their players to be in a good condition for the UCL matches. I don't think Barcelona is capable to join the race of the title anymore. Even if Barcelona wins the match, they won't be easily to catch Real Madrid because the point gap is quite large. Real Madrid is leading with good points, Barcelona probably only thinks to finish the season above Girona and Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona has some other games before the El Clasico match and some games they are going to have are hard games. For example, Barcelona should play against Cadiz and PSG before playing against Real Madrid and regarding these two games, I think if Barcelona manages to eat PSG in the Champions League they will have a much better atmosphere in the team to beat Real Madrid because currently, the situation for Rela Madrid is a little bit better than Barcelona. The season does not end and Barcelona with their pride and pressure from financial crisis, will try best to win La Liga even they are smart enough to know their chance is not high. These are very hard conditions that must come from both Barcelona and Real Madrid. Each of two conditions is already difficult to happen so a combination of these conditions, make it very hard to happen.

Girona already did massively impression in La Liga through this season and even they can not win La Liga, the impression they made in this season will be recorded in history of their club and La Liga.

It's true that Laliga isn't over yet, but Girona's presence in the top four surprised us. At the start of the season, Girona even topped the standings and competed closely with Real Madrid, and surprisingly managed to beat Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. but unfortunately they are not strong enough to beat Real Madrid, however this is a good start for Girona to become a strong team next season by bringing in star players.

Girona's current success is due to the effectiveness of the people placed by the club owner according to their portions, intelligence in selecting players, not messing around and carrying out effective player transfers which means it is in the process rather than having to buy expensive players. Girona will have a tough match soon and winning the game against atletico madrid will be obviously helping girona to lock UCL spot for the next season. This gonna be a very important match for girona considering the fact that if clubs is trying so hard to go to the UCL.

Girona has indeed become an unexpected team in La Liga this season. Because I personally didn't pay much attention to Girona at first. So I also don't have any expectations for Girona. However, after this season's LaLiga progressed, I was surprised by Girona's greatness in being able to become the top 3 team in Laliga. However, unfortunately at the end of this season, Girona's performance experienced a significant decline. The reason is that in their last 5 matches in Laliga, Girona was only able to win 3 matches and lose 2 matches.

Girona's achievements throughout this season are indeed worthy of appreciation because this club is an ordinary club but was able to become a top club because they appeared consistent since the start of the season and competed with Real Madrid at the top of the standings, but unfortunately Girona's concentration did not last long as they experienced a decline towards the end of the season which caused his position to drop to 3rd place and was overtaken by Barcelona.

I don't think, Barcelona can win three matches to embrace three points from those matches because they are going to be meeting strong teams that will strength them and if they are not careful they will not take victory from them. I have seen many things that will not make Barcelona to reach that first position in the la Liga league table, because Real Madrid is ahead of them with many points and they will not allow any mistakes that will make their points to reduce. Based on what Real Madrid has displayed in this season for the whole world to see, I think Real Madrid will be the team that will embrace the title in this season and Barcelona will take second position, because Girona has experienced some challenges that will make them not to reach the second position again.

Girona indeed has been the surprise package of the season in Laliga this season. I had wished they won the league to interrupt the monopoly stronghold of winning in Spain between Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid
For me, they have already exceeded expectations and I'm quite sure they will play in the Champions League next season. Even if they don't win the league,  they have successfully introduced themselves as a force to reckon with in the Laliga top tier. Good luck to them.

The La Liga competitive race is here and only the available of top clubs will become strong enough to take up levelled raise. Girona would have become one of the promising club but they've slide behind and they're unable to meet up the necessary targets required of the team. Real Madrid and Barcelona have proven to be one of the tough clubs this season and they're always on sights to trigger winning. While Girona will be settling for the UCL qualifying spot, they just have to become prominent and consistent in winning matches.

There are no league games this weekend. Of course this can be used by the club to rest and train.

I just realized that there are no matches in La Liga this week, is there an important agenda that requires the league to be closed for 1 week? the other major leagues are still active this week and the UCL agenda starts on the 10th, does anyone know the info?

Then, regarding the La Liga title race, currently Real Madrid is at the top of the standings with 75 points while Barcelona is below them with 67 points, in your opinion, do you think Barcelona can catch Real Madrid with 8 matches remaining (24 points accumulated by a full win).
