@sovie no one really knows how bad actually this situation is at the moment, but I’ll agree with you that the news outlets are definitely crossing the line and playing with people's sentiments to make money out of this news. Also I’m sure this forum will have people from China too, so if you’re reading this post can you’ll update us about the ground situation out there?.

It probably already is there. One woman escaped the quarantine in Wuhan, still flew to France and bragged about it online. No one knows until someone reputable and trustworthy from the affected place will speak out. Media do manipulate the news that they are broadcasting and sometimes it's too much.  There are also people who are giving their insight about the virus, I've seen a video of someone who said that this is a serious case.

And there's someone who allowed an interview and said who's been living in Wuhan for a long time that there are no bats or exotic foods found there. Sometimes, the news themselves are discouraging to watch although you want to be updated with the situation.

I'm from south east asia country and it is a realuty that there is a panic in my society where everybody is afraid because of the coronavirus. If we will fully understand what it is then there is nothing to be afraid of because there are ways in order for us to prevent having this kind of virus but still it is not a simple issue and the government should focus on curing this kind of virus .

I'm in between thinking this is part of another disaster porn hysteria and thinking it's a truly concerning event that could spread like fire in a matter of weeks and do disaster.

I know this might sound like conspiracy, but it's not. Last October, Event 201 took place. Some of the biggest companies and leaders of different sectors from top countries have participated to it to do a Coronavirus outbreak simulation. We're talking about Bill Gates' foundation, Marriott, Johnson & Johnson, UPS, United Nations etc.

There's a highlight of everything they talked about here, and isn't it kind of... fishy.. that they've simulated exactly what began this January? 3 months later the simulation turned into reality, and nobody's responsible for it. It would be weird and I'd be damn suspicious if I said "next week Paris will be bombed again" and it really happens, wouldn't I?

-He do not deny anything.
-The first sick visited a hospital the 10 of December.
-Doctors thought it was just flu because it is flu time.
-By 27 December and after few unsuccessful flu treatments, they realized it's a class B virus (not as dangerous as class A in Chinese protocol).
-Few regular procedures to investigate the matter later, they suspected it's a class A virus.
-Early this year, and with more infected coming, they officially reclassified the Virus A, damn few days after the suspections, that's fast.
-By the first week of January China shared all the knowledge they have and even the virus sequence with Australian specialists and others.
-Australian doctors after verification, published all the Chinese data on a big virology website (Can't remember the site, but if I find it I will post it here) the 10th of January.
-If you are a doctor or have some knowledge, do good research on google about the Virus sequence Data, you will find that virology website and read Australian doctors discussing the matter with a big acknowledgement that the data is Chinese, also you can check the dates of each post.
-The mayor doesn't deny that they under estimated the Virus at first, specially in a time millions get sick with the flu, and the time they thought about a solution, 10 days passed and cities got CLOSED.
-In history, no country ever quarantined cites... so many cities... and that fast... we are talking about 60 to 70 million people.

I'm not Chinese.
I'm not defending China, yet I love it as a country, been there many times for long periods.
I have plenty of friends, Chinese and expats in China.
I believe I understand somewhat how the country and people think... I respect China.
Sure, it is not perfect, but damn, China is doing crazy stuff that no nation dare to do or try.
I just believe Chinese officials did and are doing their best.
I believe no other country could have done better than what they are doing.
Sure the virus could have been avoided with some basic hygiene, but that's the past.
What important is it's damn serious and blaming this and that doesn't help.
Remember, China is a huge country, if this would have happened elsewhere, we would be already all damned.

Here's a solution:

Anyone interested in taking the guy's vaccinations, go for it.  If you want to do you kids, it's sad and I'll feel bad for them, but it's simply not my business.  (I don't want to pay for their lifetime of autoimmune ailments though; that fund should be raised from Bill Gate's-n-companies estate.)

The rest of us should educate ourselves and fund research into what is actually going on an if these people, who are known and proud eugenicists, have anything to do with it.  The key to stopping and rolling back 'non-lethal biological warfare agent' infections is to gain insight into the science behind it.  Right now it is all highly classified.

Anyone who buy's the idea that this thing jumped from 'bats to snakes to humans' all by itself with no help from the (many) biological warfare labs that are know to exist all around the world is a chump.  It's possible, but the possibility that there was some engineering helping the process along is very very high.  This is 2020 after all and that's a magic number for a lot of these creeps with their 'agenda2020' and all that.  They all but said that just such a thing was going to be rolled out if you know how to listen.

Basically to know about corona virus it belongs to RNA group of virus and affects the zoonotic species. Every human would have affected by any type of corona group of virus in their lifetime.It is highly contagious.Currently China has been reported for this diseases.the pandemic attack of corona virus has killed more than 130 human individuals in which more than 6000 people identified for suffering from it.

Oh you beat me to it. From the news I've seen it was 9 cities and the hospital is being rushed to be build in 6 days. I don't know how they'll do that but it shows how panicked they are. Some people joke it'll be completed that quickly coz it's actually a mass grave. 

If you see history of china, they do things always quickly. Since this virus can destroy China image globally apart from bringing financial loss, they building hospital to curb it. I hope chineses govt will get control of it very soon and will bring relief to its population.

I don't know about the minimum temperature needed to kill this virus but I believe alcohol that's at least 70% should be enough to kill it. Just rub your hands vigorously to generate heat when cleaning. Helps to moisturize after since dry chapping skin would just open you for other stuff.  Avoid touching you hands and nose with your hands as well and dispose used masks properly.

Let's be thankful viruses are not as hard to kill as anthrax spores.

Considering the incubation time and that it has apparently come under their radar as early as December, there's probably already many people outside the quarantine areas spreading the virus unknowingly. At this point they'll have to put the entire country under quarantine judging by the amount of people that traveled out of Wuhan and other affected areas during the holiday season.

What really frustrates me is my own country's refusal to ban all travel between here and China. Seriously, they'd rather risk public safety than piss of China.

As far as I know, over 6000 people are now have coronavirus. I think the WHO will now make a move in order to keep stop spreading this kind of virus. There is a fear in all over the society because this kind of virus can kill humans. There are now many news where people got affected even they do not have history from travelling Wuhan China.
