Any reason why any time i try to start the wallet it refuses to connect java.net.socketextension: software caused connection abort : recv failed?

its refusing to download or update any of the block chain just stays there not connected

I added three peers into settings.ini. Then it's oke.

Yeah using version 3 , tried to delete my data folder contents and restart because the blockchain seemed to have stalled for me, tried to reconnect and been unable to do so since, just software caused connection abort

Why I cant connect any peers? Always no connections!

It might be blocked by windows firwall or something like that. In case there's something wrong with the client I think it's better to post your OS details along with problems you have. It'll help dev to figure out where's the problem.
