Thank you for the clear post and, +1! My offer still stands-- if you would like to have a second pair of eyes, or a second-dev that can act ad a sounding board, please PM me.
A simplified crypto is something I've been waiting for and I'm glad to hear that was part of your initial purpose for Qora.
Good job and I just want to be sure I'm offering what I can to help establish this coin. I'm here to support and not to tear down you, the project or anyone else.
Ofcourse I want to be able to let others help. That is why I want to get these things done and make the code available. so,... just do it......

Please note, I edited my last sentence on my lady post. (I only have access to BTT on a cell during the day. Small typo, with big implication. ) Anyway, all I'm trying to state is that if we want this to take off, then yes, Qora needs help. At a minimum, he needs a trusted, second pair of eyes or a person with a technical background that can test the hell out of a major update before a release. I'd be willing to be that guy, briefly, until others come along to support the coin. I'll be honest, I'm a busy person and my spare time is precious. Crypto is a secondary hobby for me, so it doesn't get a lot of time. Still, I'm willing to help where I can. I know my thoughts seem a little scattered today, but after having to work through my own Bter issues (which aren't resolved, btw) I just see the need that this coin needs more support than one dev and a bunch of cheerleaders. (Nothing wrong with either. (I'm just saying, if we want to grow, then growth needs to be supported.) I'm not complaining, I guess. I'm more throwing my name in the proverbial "willing to help" hat. Qora, if you read this, and are interested in a second dev, PM me. By trade I am a C/C# dev (and I can send you my resume.) I've never coded in Java but I can get around in it. any feed back from qora? and dev, you have plan but where's your progress of work ?

Use the last version Install Qora on Mac OS X 10.9: http://youtu.be/iok9kTFIkPIYes, I use QORA on a Mac. Assuming that you have Java installed, just unzip the file, open the terminal, navigate to the folder, and enter "./run.sh" (do not include the quotation marks.)

- Fixed a problem while synchronizing that caused the database to become corrupt.
- Fixed multiple rounding issues on the assets GUI.
- Fixed a problem where cancelling an order that created a trade caused problems for the GUI.
- Fixed a problem where an order could create empty trades.

@Qora -Do we have to re-download chain from scratch for every update or just recover wallet from seed ? -I have problems getting nodes connected, that seems to happen after release 15. Older versions no problems. -In log file :"NFO: Adjusting time with -12003 milliseconds." Thats a BIG offset, running WinXP and having my time synched every hour.

v17 didn't like me much but I am forging blocks again on v18! 75m qora and I haven't hit a block in weeks. If you don't mind me asking, how much are you forging with? To be clear, a few weeks ago, that balance was hitting over 15 blocks a day. Now, I've not hit a block in a loooooong time.

That might not be a bad idea, flame wars and other bad stuff is not good for this project. But simply ignoring trolls is also very effective.

I am forging with 1/2 of what you got... that's why I said v17 didn't like me much... I honestly believe it had something to do with the data folder... it showed that I was synced but something was definitely wrong. I would do a fresh extract of v18 and recover from seed if I were you... make sure other processes are not using up most of your bandwidth until you're fully synced too. Ah, that's just it. I've been on v18 since not longt after the release and I started with an empty data folder. I did copy over my wallet folder, so I guess that could be the problem. I'll inspect it tonight. Oh, and bandwidth isn't the problem. I have a top-tier Home plan from a cable provider that handles video streaming VERY well, and I'm not doing this over wifi. qora, is there a chance that my clock (on my mac) is out of sync, just enough to cause this trouble?
