We could lower this to 0.1 per user if everyone thinks 0.125 is too much.

That was 1% of the 12.5 BTC Block.  So now shouldn't it be .0625 for the 6.25 BTC Blocks?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Good call os2sam I would be happy to mod the amount down to this to suit.

@ 0.0625 x 10 = 0.625 BTC

Dono how long you've been going and at what hash but that's not many shares. I have  67651195620 shares from 43 th after 1.5 months.
When I "found" that block from the bad server I had only 23030196752 shares after like a month or 2 It's all luck of the draw.

I guess the first batches of the S19 miners arrived and are online.  Tongue Tongue
Next days could be interesting to watch how the hashpower will behave.

Seems like a lot of new gear is hitting the network now I would expect a lot more to come online next few weeks as lockdown restrictions start to ease around the world and shipping start to get back on track.

Note still game for a block hunt guys if anyone is wanting to jump in list is above just quote it and add yourself to the list!

What do you mean by Difficulty target: 124 EH/s ? that's more like the current hashrate ! please elaborate, also calling Bitcoin "Bitcoin core" suggests that there is another Bitcoin, something that BCH and BSV people do to give the impression that thier versions of Bitcoin are also Bitcoin and not altcoins, if you get rid of the "core" thingy I would certainly love to join your channel.  Grin

Well, according to http://solochance.com (since I am too lazy to do that maths) you have 1 in 400,094 chance in every block that comes from now until your rental is finished, and just like the rest of us you need a ton of luck, so I wish you the best of ot.

maybe he is talking about the bitcoin core wallet/node which is for Bitcoin not any of the shitty alts

Given the context, I am 100% possitive that he refers to BTC as bitcore core and nothing else,  kindly correct me if I am mistaken.

Well, when I say Bitcoin Core I am talking about https://bitcoin.org/en/download

so when he said bitcoin core notifications - it makes me think that is what he talking about

I dont know him though nor did I look into his history so I have no real context other than his post. so I defer to you all as you all sound a bit more familiar with him.

Sounds like you are right @MoparMiningLLC judging by his thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262230.msg54816859#msg54816859

He's just pulling data out of his Bitcoin Core node (which is the official name according to bitcoin.org, well its on the website when you go to download the wallet)

Then he has written a Telegram bot to display the info which, whether it is useful or not, looks like this:

Code:

There doesn't seem to be any ulterior motive for his choice of wording as far as I can tell.

I was wondering why some should need that Service, but then I followed Biffas link and found:

I wrote free telegram bot to be up to date with my Bitcoin Core node. It shows all interesting stats.
My node is Tor network only, it does not accept normal connections, everything is through Tor.

That explains the reason for the bot then.

Hi All ...

What would be the 'best' machine to buy (in bulk) for a farm? ...

Electricity would not be an issue, nor would cost of said electricity. The best value for money so that mining on these pools would be a beneficial effort.

Any advice would be great. i/we are more GPU Miners, and ASIC is still a fresh consideration for the money to be invested into hardware. As i see a few of these miners have issues with connection and meddling with settings to hook up, but most seem to be a PlugnPlay scenario.

Thanks In Advance,

Not sure why you ask here.  But low cost used gear like the t17 would be one choice. A lot depends on the price you pay per th.

A t17 doing 40th earns 40 x 0.07 = 2.80 a day  if you got it for 400. in 150 days you would have 150 x 2.80 = 420

This is an option for you if you can find 400 usd t17 miners.
