While another SEA team, Polaris had already chose not to participate in the TI qualifiers because they'll represent the country in the IESF World championships.

And on this tournament, I recognize some notable players that will play for their national team and that means that they won't participate as well on the TI qualifiers.

That's a good move for them when the chances of winning that one slot are too low, but in the IESF tournament, they have a decent chance of taking home a good amount of prize money.

After checking the schedule, only the SEA and WEU teams are affected due to their qualifiers starting on August 27 and this is the second day of the IESF tournament. The other regions are lucky that their qualifiers don't overlap with the tournament.

One quick look and I noticed that the team isn't registered to Liquipedia all. Also, most of their players don't seem to be known to the majority of the Dota community so it remains to be seen whether they're someone who can go toe-to-toe against the current teams of SEA for the International.

I've known most of them since when there have been div 2 games and these names have became familiar to me. It's like they're also good players but in terms of achievement in the pro scene, it's always that their team disbands.

Still, good luck to them.

They could maybe do a little push if they really want to go places. Most pros nowadays are just no-namers in the hey days of the old pros. They just grind and grind hard enough and eventually landed in an organization - or made their organization famous - by basically just sticking together and playing together. SEA region is a tough place for competition nowadays that I'll go so far as to say that it's cutthroat out here, but it's certainly doable.

Better compete for a tournament that only has some notable strong players than battle it out in the TI qualifiers and get dropped by stronger, more stable teams. That's a respectable move from Polaris, considering that the likes of BOOM, team SMG, and Execration are playing in that leg of the TI journey. They'd rather take their chances against other national teams and represent their country which is, IMO, a noble deed.

Well to be fair, they cant back off from the IESF for sure because they are representing their country and honestly I'd still think that every dota players would love to participate in TI qualifiers but they just cant due to circumstances. Anyway speaking of chances, they have didnt chances to qualify though so its too bad on their part


Betting on the cn qualifiers tomorrow, not that I plan to watch any of them but it just feels weird not to bet any of them

Eternal Fire defeated their rival ORKS 2-0 in the Pinnacle Cup tournament and secured a spot in the playoffs. Although EF had some difficulties against their opponent, we can say that this time Calyx was at the forefront of the game. In addition to Calyx, IGL maj3r's performance was also very good. True, those keep on grinding in the pubs as in everyday are also being scouted. Remember on how topson was scouted by notail through the pubs. And that's why there's always hope for those no name players if they want to be discovered.

There's also Blacklist but I don't think that they'll be able to make it. But who knows, most of them are in scrimmage and totally trying to get into this update. So everyone has a chance still.

Can't take FURIA seriously again after the recent roster change, at least not in the tier 1 scene. They only won 1 match in Cologne play-in against Grayhound, and now have been struggling in the IEM Sydney Open Qualifiers. They lose to some random mix-team in the second open qualifier and don't even make it to RO-16. This new roster won't work sadly.

Should be easy for Navi in the opening round of Gamers8, that 1.4 odds looks interesting.

Navi won as expected. I forgot to place bets on the rest of the opening matches Anyway, here's my pick for today's matches. Quite disappointed that Navi has to meet Vitality this early in the tournament. It's going to be tough for them as Vitality is the favorite here. Still betting on them though

As of typing this, The The International 2023 qualifiers of China has already started and the top bracket is almost done. We've got teams already proceeding to the next bracket which is the Upper Bracket Semi Finals.

Team Aster have won and they're going to face Xtreme Gaming from there.

While the lower bracket teams are just waiting for those teams that have fallen and their matches will start from tomorrow as followed by the Upper Bracket SemiFinals.

So, wait for tomorrow for the lower bracket round 2 as the last remaining game of writing this is Azure Ray against Team Bright.

And after a few hours, we'll see the start from the North American region.

We learned from them that they are not capable to play high tier Dota if they play outside SEA. They had 3 majors runs this year and all of them were a failure   because besides Talon , SEA teams are really having a hard time to play Dota. Same goes for CHINA region , who top players and team are playing into SEA pubs because CHINA dota is maybe in the lowest rate of players.

Anyway , I will keep on eye on some certain games and some certain teams because a few of them will make there like Azure, Aster and maybe Nouns ?

As expected of these three teams. I was about to add Azure Gaming -1.5 as well if the odds was atleast better than 1.4 but it was around 1.25 or something which isnt really worth it. Glad that I left them out of the equation and focus on these three so it was a good start to get some balances for the rest of the qualifiers

Unfortunately, that's how the qualifier system goes the more points a team has, the better seeding they get in the qualifier. The only good SEA team aside from Talon is Bleed and that's why i'm hoping for them to take the TI spot from the SEA qualifier.

Everyone in the region is really failing to post impressive results on their recent runs. The Chinese teams and powerhouses are also failing to finish on top of the placements. I’m really curious as to how far would Chinese and SEA teams go in this year’s TI. If we are to follow the ‘pattern’ in the TI championship, it should be the Chinese who should win this year’s most prestigious Dota 2 tournament. But with the current state of Chinese dota, I guess we’re far from it.

My picks for today's matches. Really looking forward to Cloud9 vs ENCE match, I think it'll be a banger. Expecting a straightforward win for the rest of the matches, G2 and Heroic.

I'm hearing about a tournament named Gamers8 for the first time on CS:GO. Have you heard about it before?

If it is a tournament whose name has changed then I don't know. Because the prize pool is 1 million dollars.    If it is a new tournament then it must be sponsored by really huge companies I think. So far the biggest surprise in it is FaZe's saying an early goodbye to it. They were eliminated by Virtus.pro unexpectedly. They couldn't even make use of their advantage after getting 1-0 ahead.

I'm not surprised with NaVi's elimination by Vitality because they can be considered like a new team. The players must still be adapting to playing together smoothly.

Well I won my last bet so thats extra balance to play some huge risk bet with. I think Heroic is going to easily get 2-0 but Im abit worried with G2 because VP is not an easy team that u can get 2-0 from

Well if you use the liquipedia link onto another esport page then that would link it to Riyadh Master Tournament on Dota2. It has 15M prizepool on Riyadh Master so it feels pretty normal if they are the same organization that sponsored Riyadh Master then they would be easily throw another 1M on cs:go

B8 almost did it last night against WC but if someone saw the 2nd map , Dendi was on fire! He had 7-0 at some point , did solo kill on mid like on good old times and basically had a perfect game for the rest of the map. Unfortunately , 3rd map was a disaster for them as even if they picked WD ( who has an incredible winning rate in this new patch ) , they couldn't pull out a magical one and win as in my opinion , WD is still that hero who falls flat after mid game is over.

Boom lost their firepower after three of their best players left and moved with the teams like Blacklist and Bleed. They've done a few roster changes recently but it still doesn't look promising.

I also had Heroic -1.5, but they fumbled on Vertigo and had some sloppy T rounds in the second half.

I'm going with ENCE on the next series as I think the bookies are hyping Cloud9 too much with their current form when ENCE hasn't been slowing down.

Gamers8 tournament is witnessing good matches.We are now in the period of quarterfinal matches and we have finished half of the quarterfinal matches.The first match was played between GamerLegion-Heroic.Heroic managed to eliminate GL with a clear power difference.We know that they are already at a high level as a team.In GL, we can say that player changes have affected their performance.The other match was the C9-Ence match. We saw a different result here, at least from what I expected.C9 had made good transfers, but it was a pity for them that they could not show much presence against ENCE.It was a match in which ENCE played better as a team and it is clear that they deserved to win.The current quarterfinal match is between G2-VP.The first map is Mirage, which VP chose, and we can say that VP is currently ahead in score and close to winning the map.

The last two days of the Gamers8 tournament are here and it should be three more exciting games to watch. So far there weren't many surprises this tournaments, all the top 4 CSGO teams in the world managed to reach the semi finals. GamerLegion managed to take one map of Heroic which was pretty impressive, but it wasn't even close on the other two maps. The first match of the semi finals today is going to be Heroic vs ENCE, where Heroic is still the favourite. However, ENCE managed to beat Heroic at the start of the month at IEM Cologne. I think it's going to be very close and the match could go either way, that is why I will only place a small bet on Heroic and focus more on the final. The second match today is going to be Vitality vs G2, another very close match. Like with Heroic, Vitality lost to G2 in the IEM Cologne 2 weeks ago. The match could go either way, but I think that Vitality has a small edge and will reach the finals tomorrow. In case both Vitality and Heroic win today, I going with Vitality to win the tournament.

I have followed that game, that was a good experiment for them with a Witch Doctor mid but you're right that it's hard to get on when the late game has come. Anyway, B8 won in the lower bracket against Titled Boys and they're going to face Sandking Gomez, an unknown team within the next few hours.
Going on the Chinese region, Xtreme Gaming won against Team Aster and they're going to face Azure Ray at the top bracket. XG did really well on the last map, credits to XinQ's ES and JT's mars.
