I have asus r9 270xs and now im getting 3,7mhs each. Is that like normal or way too low?

It's quite normal, 270X can have about 3,8 MH/s.
my old cheap hd5770 is 3.1MH/s.  Wink
my r9 270x 4.37 MH/s   http://saveimg.ru/show-image.php?id=3f532c5d6cda845b6b876646520135c4

What happened to the 0.5 btc bounty for optimized CPU?

Would be good to see more work on (more) CPU mining Smiley

WOW, MINTPAL, what a stupid choice, you will get nothing more than dumpers! GRS will be dead like HIRO.

WOW, MINTPAL, what a stupid choice, you will get nothing more than dumpers! GRS will be dead like HIRO.

Based on this coin's compelling algo which works well on multiple platforms it has a bright future. Any short-term dumping on Mintpal will only test the resilience of this mining community, which is strong enough to ride through.

Good performance on many platforms combined with lowered ASIC advantage is the ultimate goal of a PoW algo. Grøstl does it better than any other algo in crypto mining today.

What the hell? We stayed loyal and continued mining even without a dev for two weeks!

As one of the most efficient GPU coins, GRS will do very well with Scrypt miners.  I mined it for 24 hours to test it against x11 and the efficiency, lower fan noise and lower heat generation was excellent.

Come the summer, this will be a great choice for many miners.

Just my view.

I don't mine GRS at the moment, only because I mine DRK.  I still hold GRS.

IMO

The ultimate PoW algo (which Grøstl is) should keep a level playing field between device platforms. Miners could simultaneously mine the coin either with an android phone (arm processor), or a GPU (nvidia or amd), or an Intel x86 CPU or an ASIC and evreybody gets a fair distribution of coins relative to energy spent.

Groestlcoin is closer to this with the Grøstl algo than any other crytpo today.

It's a big deal.

Hi Groestlers!

It's the dev.

I've been working on updated wallet and I believe it is almost ready for release. Just needs testing.

Here's the list of changed files: https://github.com/GroestlCoin/GroestlCoin/pull/4/files

And here's the list of changes:
* Fixed OpenSSL HeartBleed vulnerability (switched to OpenSSL 1.0.1g)
* Fixed blockchain source not available (by updating default .conf)
* Added checkpoint at block 28888
* Added missing FugueCoin copyrights

Could someone try to compile this for Win/Mac/Linux and test?
If all is ok, I will pull these changes to the main git GroestlCoin repo.

Thanks,

Please support GroestlCoin by donating to FYEAbFBG3xY5VUtE9GXC56v5UKt4xkoUkb. And thank you to those, who already have donated (4,000 GRS so far). All GRS will go towards coin promotion, bounties, etc.

New list of bounties:

5,000 GRS for making Win32 CPU miner as fast as Win64
10,000 GRS for making ARM CPU miner that will work on Android tablets/phones
15,000 GRS for making Win32 and/or Win64 CPU miner achieve 5 MH/s on stock desktop processor with stock cooler (i.e. no Xeons, and no nitrogen).

(can be found on http://www.groestlcoin.org/future/ page)

PS: For those who ask where's the 0.5BTC for optimized CPU miner bounty... This was set by previous developer and I'm not sure how he was planning to fund it (he didn't reply to my email and PM on this topic either). I cannot pay this amount from my own pocket, so I have to remove it from the list. Thanks for understanding.

I'll throw in an additional 15,000 GRS to help encourage development of a super optimized cpu miner.

I feel very frustrated.
in last two days, i dumped 130k GRS at 700~800 satoshi,it was hard to dig,
and now ,it is even harder, hashrate grows, block reward decrease,
where is my GRS?

Where is your GRS? umm you sold it.

that's why you hold and only sell when you think its worth what you want for it, i'll wait for 8k sat. At one point people were selling for around 500 sat so you just have to wait if it drop and buy in again.

soo did you learn your lesson.
