I havent used the wallet for awhile, so I will try a fresh install with just my wallet.dat in the %appdata%/cleanwatercoin folder. I will also keep the conf file OUT of the %appdata% folder, and rename the exe to Cleanwatercoin -qt -checknode=0.exe and see if that makes it synch on the first try. It has helped in the past to keep the conf file out and use the checknode.

I performed the above, and right now it says it is synching to block 24880.

My wallet synched fine and has remained synched for awhile now.

So here is what I did that worked.

1. Backed up wallet.dat.
2. Deleted everything but wallet.dat from %appdata%/cleanwatercoin folder.
3. Unzipped new wallet to desktop.
4. Renamed cleanwatercoin -qt_4.exe to cleanwatercoin -qt_4 -checknode=0.exe
5. Kept conf file in wallet folder to avoid any specific node issues. If you Move the CONF file to the %appdata%/cleanwatercoin folder, it will use the nodes in the conf file.

It may be that the nodes in the conf file, or in most users conf file, is bad. They need to either update the conf file or remove it altogether and use my method above. I do not know if that works for solo miners or not, as I do not solo mine.

lol i dont know guys but i had some probs too but ive been manage to fix it easy. thanks to another user (dont know the name anymore of this board. What i did is:

- download the new wallet (check some pages back or something there i found a link somebody posted, or maybe begin page?)
- anyway. when the download is done go to your cleanwatercoin dir (so the new one, and make sure the old cleanwater client is not running). then (impotent) delete the existing cleanwaterconfig file with a bunch of notes in it witch is in the same dir. so the cleanwater.conf file...

-after that go to your C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\cleanwatercoin DIR and make sure to delete all files but NOT your wallet.dat. (sry bad english). then before starting your new watercoinwallet. make a .conf file in that same dir and name it cleanwatercoin.conf (so a .txt file and rename it to conf). and add these two notes, nothing more!! :

connect=107.170.209.91
connect=107.170.89.103

so to be clear. you make this file inside your C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\cleanwatercoin DIR and NOT in your normal cleanwatercoin dir.

- fire it up import your wallet or leave it like it was if you let the .wallet intact. i hope this helps at these who are suffering from this prob.

ps: i am using wallet version v1.6.0.0.

to people having wallet synch issues...

1) download the new wallet
2) navigate to C:\Users\YOUR_PC_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\cleanwatercoin
3) delete everything except wallet.dat file
4) create a text file named cleanwatercoin.conf
inside C:\Users\YOUR_PC_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\cleanwatercoin folder

in this file, Use only these 2 nodes

connect=107.170.89.103

5) start your wallet up and let it synch

The conf file that came with the updated wallet tx fix does not work

how does one go about MANUALLY Withdrawing from your pool?

We don't have manual payout at the moment. We set auto threshold very low and payouts run every minute. Are you having a problem receiving coins?

I finally managed to get the wallet synced using the 2 nodes someone posted above...but I am still MISSING coins!!!
I can't send any coins either because majority of them are showing in stake and the balance is only showing 15-20% of the stake!!


Devs are you actually working on fixing this or just leaving for the community to jump through hoops and try an dget it working with a push an da prod? I think we need a proper solution!

Error initializing database environment

I get this every time I run the wallet.. if I clean out the the roaming folder, it works, but I have to download everything again. Once it works and I close it out and open the wallet again, I get that error... wtf is going on.

Is it perhaps not closing the database properly? If you restart the pc and then open the wallet again does it still happen?
