Does this coin have an active developer, or did they skip town??  Just curious if this is worth mining, I like the website and the pool.  Trying to fig out if its a serious coin

To the WATER devs: You have until Monday to get a decent wallet together. Its getting listed on Mintpal and without a working wallet it will be the last nail in the coffin.

I know it is frustrating, but the wallet does work. It is a little more feisty for people that were around from day one -- but many people on here have figured it out just fine. Time will do it's magic as everything gets flushed out and more new people come on. New comers have not had any issues, it's just some of us who have been around longer who are the ones that have to be patient/persistent to get everything to sync up properly -- but I assure you, as many other original miners can attest... it does work! It is better for the coin long term if it does not get listed Monday.  Monday week would be better.  Vote accordingly.

+1 the wallet still has real issues, i'd wait. We only get one shot at this.

The wallet was fully synched yesterday, by instructions at top of the first page in this thread. It would occasionally "fall back" more than 4000 blocks, then re-synch again after a few minutes.

Today I get this message: "WARNING: Invalid checkpoint found! Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or notify developers"

This is cleanwatercoin version v1.6.0.0

Personally it doesnt bother me. Im just thinking of the coin. If it has any real chance it has too survive being launched on Mintpal. On Monday if Mintpal opens up trading its going to need a wallet, if theirs doesnt work it will create mass panic and a mass sell off. Same with people who have never heard of the coin, they open a new wallet and it doesnt sync. Game Over.
I hope it does survive, dont get me wrong im not trolling, jus' sayin'

Over 5 days with wallet open non-stop..Mining non-stop..coin non-stop..No issues with wallet open 24x5..Looks good!

It was only that 1st sync that was a bit more fun than normal...nothing that a good cleanup, the right conf and a quick sync didn't cure

Nothing but clean water since!

I almost wish I could magically fix any troubled water seekers wallet out there.

Finally got my wallet synched.

The problem was that the version of the wallet on the official website did not match the updated wallet from this thread and I was downloading from the official website of the coin and not from here.

Anyways, that resolved it.   thanks

if that s true, it shows a lack of competence from the DEV

Sorry, I love this coin, but  the lack of communication and mistakes are becoming too much...

Its as if the coin holders are trying harder than the DEVS for this coin to succeed

Last time I had to resync, I used no addnode's (you could remove the .conf) and it has been fine since Monday.  Mining on RejectMining has been great for me, building up a wallet of WATER myself.  0% fee if anyone is interested Smiley

The coins shouldn't be lost.
I think you are mining in a wrong fork(?)
There are ~160 Blocks for the amount of 142,400.
