The way they left Marseille behind and had a huge point gap with them at the end was really impressive. It is doubtful if they can do well in the Champions League group stage though. PSG can put young and promising players in Mbappe's place, but then a player who gets a lot of money will just sit on the bench.

If Mbappe stays, of course he will play his best in every possible game (obviously taking into account the need to rest, etc.) - it is too expensive to keep one of the strongest strikers and the most expensive player on the bench. Among PSG, Lens and Marseille trio only Lens haven't changed their manager recently. And Lens really don't need a change at all after this superb season. The way they left Marseille behind and had a huge point gap with them at the end was really impressive. It is doubtful if they can do well in the Champions League group stage though. But it is early to say something before seeing their group there.

Lens' priority would be to keep consistent in the Ligue 1 of course. They will really need to work harder because this season might be more challenging than they assume maybe. I don't think Marseille would be this out-of-form next time.

Well, next season Lens will be tested with a fairly busy schedule of matches in various competitions. if they're not ready to deal with it, don't be surprised if Lens suffers a drop in performance. which means, they won't be as good as they were in the 2022/2023 season.
at least, Lens will take part in 3 competitions, be it Ligue 1, Champions League and also the Coupe de France. because of that, Fanck Haise had to prepare his team and at the same time deepen it by bringing in several newcomers. because if not, they may experience fatigue as happened to Marseille last season. the absence of several injured players could be a significant obstacle for the Lens squad in the coming season. So, you can be sure that Fanck Haise will have a tough task next season. that's why Fanck Haise must be better prepared with his squad for next season even though their focus is on the Ligue 1 competition.

As for Marseille, I'm pretty sure that even though they have changed coaches, they will still be a strong team for the League competition. in fact, under the tutelage of Marcelino, it is possible that Marseille will become an increasingly competitive team.  well, let's just wait after the new season starts. in fact, I'm quite curious about Lens' performance in the 2023/2024 season. so, let's wait.
