I've only read from some of this news that there are actually a number of problems such as Kylian Mbappe not signing a contract extension and Paris SG himself has also not provided certainty about a contract extension so that the two parties do not have clarity and all this is supported by several other problems.

The problem is that Kylian Mbappe's contract will expire next year and Paris SG has also been warned to immediately provide clarity whether they want to extend the contract with Mbappe or if not in 2024 Kylian Mbappe must leave for free.
I agree with you that maybe Paris SG will not let Mbappe go for free because he has such a high value but you also know star player Messi was released by Paris SG for free and it is possible that the Paris SG officials would do the same to Mbappe.

PSG where so desperate for the champions league to the point that they had to break the bank to bring in world class players into their squad but it still didn't work for them, and when they noticed it wasn't working they decided to trim the squad by letting go of some world class players that are demanding a heavy wage bill, I consider that a good idea because it would help them restrategies on a better squad that would be suitable for the coach and listen to his instructions also challenge for the champions league which they're yet to win

 since superstars like messi and ramos have left the squad, the fate of Mbappe and neymar are yet to be decide, although rumours have it that neymar could move to an English team, but due to the extention of his contract in 2021 i don't think he'll likely leave yet and Mbappe on the other hands is still having talks with Realmadrid and a move could likely happen because he's would be free in 2024 and PSG would want to cash in him and not losing him for free.

You are completely right because the performance of PSG in the transfer market was never good in the previous seasons, they spend lots of money and they give many legends like Messi by paying them huge amounts of money but in the end, all PSG can get in just winning the French league while they can win the French league even with less money.

Spending alot in the transfer window, achieving lesser expectations in league games, a very important part to function for the new boss, Luis Enrique. Everything will work better in time, we just need the driving force to be able know where the club is heading next season. The parisians becomes too reluctant and comfortable winning the Ligue One every season, as if not enough competitions from other clubs in the same league. Their ultimate target is to lift the UEFA Champions League next season, but it looks like it will definitely take a long range of time before their dreams would be achieved.

There isn't a very long time to go for this season to start. PSG still haven't completed a centre-forward transfer. The current alternatives are said to be Vlahovic and Hojlund.
