It took a process for Luis Enrique to bring PSG into a team that can be reckoned with, but if management doesn't give him time then I'm sure it will be quite difficult to achieve. Mbappe is important with PSG is a fact but PSG slowly learned that they need more than a super star player to succeed. A squad with good team-working can be stronger than a club that solely relies on a single super star player.

They let some star players go, brought some new ones in and they are not too famous players but they can contribute good team-working efforts for the team. This can help them succeed in a long run but they still actually need a player like Mbappe.

Honestly, maybe it is just me but it is getting boring a little bit. At the start of every season there is like this "lets see who will do what" period, and after a while every season it becomes clear that PSG will be champions, and the rest get their position and usually end up at that position. Maybe there will be few changes that's true, but usually it will end up where it is and nothing big will happen.

I think that's an issue and we need to focus on that. At least whatever the federation for French football should distribute the money a bit more equally to make other teams stronger, otherwise we are going to keep watching the same boring football just like these games and just like every game that will happen this season.

I reckon all European football organizations have similar principles on club expenditures. This mainly works in leagues like EPL, Serie, and La Liga where many club owners are willing to spend and contend with each other to get better players. We can take out PSG and Ligue will turn into a competitive league. But the champions and the other leading clubs will be average level when the time they are matched to the other leading clubs in the Champions League.

For Ligue to become competitive without lowering the expenditure of PSG is to invite multibillionaire investors to become owners of their clubs.

Nice have no posing threat for PSG because they're very inconsistent and will not become any more connected with the former oppositions. Winning Metz 3-1 was consider good winning and that have sent Metz back to falling close to the relegation zone.

The game yesterday was interesting, also because Ethan Mbappe came into the game in minute 92, he is the brother of Kylian Mbappe. 2 brothers together in the game and that for Paris who will win the championship - a nice story. Ethan is only 16 years old and that was his first game in Ligue 1, his career is taking off. And Kylian now has 18 goals in 16 games, he show his brother how he make his goals and I cant wait to see if he gives him a nice pass for a goal in the future.

Tomorrow Clermont Foot vs Rennes will be a match between two teams in French Soccer League. In this match I want to bet in support of Rennes team. I don't know how well Rennes team can do in this match. But Rennes team played very well in the previous matches. I hope they can win tomorrow. Clermont  Rennes is still far ahead of the Foot team in the points table. If we look at the points table, the Rennes team is at the 13th position. On the other hand, Clermont Foot is at the 18th position. So it is expected that this match will be better than the Clermont Foot team.

Clermont can sometimes make things difficult for any team, but the red card their players received in the final minutes of the first half destroyed their 1-0 lead. It is very possible that if there was no red card, Clermont would try to attack more to further widen the lead or at least be able to secure one point.
Red cards often change the course of a match and Rennes was lucky enough to win because the three points allowed them to move up several levels in ranking, and this defeat made Clermont's fate worse that they will be relegated next season unless in the middle of this season, they can make quite a lot of changes but of course, these changes require money which the club often doesn't have so they have to be ready to move down a division.

yep, I have the same opinion as you even though Clermont is just a weak team but I am very happy to see this team holding a draw several times or making it difficult for the opponent to score and for me actually if Clermont had quality midfielders and strikers it would definitely be very easy to win, leaving the relegation zone but even though he doesn't have much strength in the attack line at least his defenders are able to make the opponent panic and yesterday's match could have ended in a draw but unfortunately Maximiliano Caufriez made a very dangerous mistake so his defense became very bad losing the defender who initially always helped Clermont to can withstand attacks.

It seems like this season's matches have almost reached the halfway point of the season and Clermont still only has a chance to improve their team if they really want to stay in League 1, at least immediately improve the performance of their players.

It was a very surprising result when the team that was so favored to win actually lost and even though it was an away defeat, it felt inappropriate for Lille. I'm sure this match for Lyon will be easier than the last one. With 2 consecutive wins in the last two matches, Lyon started to get hopeful. They were at the bottom of the league. They are now up 2 places. If they are lucky in the Nantes match, they will win the match and continue to climb to the top. Frankly, I wasn't very hopeful about Lyon until the last 2 matches, but the last matches proved me wrong. I now believe that Lyon can surprise any team.

It happened, they were able to beat Nantes, as expected, the teams with a weak attack could not score many goals, but Lyon only needed one goal scored and a good defensive game to achieve such an important victory. Lille lost a game after a long run.Lille lost 2-1 away to Strasbourg and lost for the first time in 10 games.Lille were the better side in the match despite being on the road, but they conceded a goal and failed to score in a game in which they were not very good in terms of scoring. There were 3 goals in the match and 2 of these 3 goals were own goals.
Toulouse lost 2-1 at home to Monaco.The home team was the better team in the match, but we must say that they started to play better in the second half.Monaco, who were down to 10 men after Golovin's red card in the second half, played a more defensive football.They managed to win with the goals scored by Wissam Ben Yedder in the first half.

However, Strasbourg was able to add a goal in 76 which was the deciding factor for their victory and in the end Strasbourg was able to maintain the full 3 points and Lille, even though they were superior, could not do much when they visited Strasbourg headquarters.


Meanwhile, the performance of the 3 top standings won today's match PSG vs Metz with a score of 3:1, Touluse vs Monaco with a score of 1:2 and Nice vs Lens with a score of 2:0. The three top teams were able to take advantage of the opportunity well, especially Monaco who played an away match. But there is no change in the current position in the top 3. PSG remains in 1st place, Nice is in 2nd place and Monaco is also still in 3rd place.

While thinking about which team would be able to stop PSG's winning streak in the league Lille managed to do it.    I actually thought PSG would win the game after getting ahead. But I must admit that Lille were better playing side in the second half and they got what they wanted from this very challenging game for themselves.

Now PSG's next fixture is against Metz home. I expect a comfortable win by PSG honestly. Metz have been losing for three weeks in a row and it is about to become four weeks. As Nice are going to play a tough game against Lens as well maybe PSG can increase the point gap with Nice too.

Lille is one of the teams that is always consistent every season so it is not surprising that they can make it difficult for PSG who are the defending champions of Ligue 1. Today PSG will play Metz and this is an opportunity for Luis Enrique's men to again widen the gap from Nice and even though previously had failed due to a draw against Lille, this time it was a home game so they couldn't look weak.

The last PSG vs Metz meeting last season left deep wounds for Metz because PSG beat them with a landslide score of 5-0 without reply and it looks like this time the result will not be much different from the previous meeting. Kylian Mbappe, always the spearhead of PSG, is expected to score goals again in this match and I think he will score at least 2 goals in this match.

Mbappe had a really good day by scoring 2 goals.    Vitinha also was impressive by a goal and an assist in this game. Luis Enrique preferred Kolo Muani behind Mbappe in the formation this time. This affected Kolo Muani's performance negatively of course as he is a centre-forward.

But maybe this is an experimental thing and we could continue to watch Kolo Muani in the centre-forward position mostly during the season. Mbappe can play in multiple positions. Even he is preferred on the left wing he would still do his usual work as he isn't stick to his position according to his playing style.

Lyon are now out of the relegation zone with that victory. That makes their 3rd consecutive Victory. They won the match with Lacazatte's goal in the 49th minute.

Lyon is a team with history. A team with class. Such a team getting in the relegation zone is always very concerning, especially for their fans. They were in last place and now they are out of the relegation zone. But the danger is not over yet. They need to be consistent in matches and stop dropping points. Their upcoming match is against Havre and if they manage to win that match, then they might be able to jump 2 steps ahead in the ladder of Ligue 1.

Today in French Soccer League Clermont Foot vs Rennes two teams entered the field to play. Rennes team won the match with a great performance in today's match. S. Nicholson of Clermont Foot team scored 1 goal in the first 4 minutes of the game. After that no more goals were scored.  Clermont Foot team players. Clermont Foot team player M. Caufriez got red cards in 45+1 minutes. But Rennes team won by 3 goals in this match. Even though, in the 84th minute, Lyon only played with 10 players because Dejan Lovren received a red card, but Lyon still managed to maintain the win. It's very true that a super star such as mbappe in the french team (PSG) is very much needed for their performance to be at the top of their games most of the times but then it seems that that's not enough just like have rightly observed, they will be needing more than that to succeed as a team both in their domestic league and in other leagues where they may find their self.

Though there are football managers who takes up the managerial role of a certain club and immediately starts to get good results while there are others who needs some time to fully understand the best approach that'll suit his team and that's where Paris Saint Germaine manager Luis Enrique falls in to if you ask me. PSG as we all know is a star studded team but when Luis Enrique took the coaching job of the club, they didn't start the season on a good note as they dropped some points in the beginning of the season but after few games where played, they bounced back to winning ways again and are currently at the top of the league standings.

I don't think that there's any doubt to the fact that Kylian Mbappe is Paris Saint Germaine's most important player at the moment. He's lived up to expectations of the club management and fans since the start of the season abd us currently the leading scorer in the league with18 goals and 2 assists in 16 French Ligue 1 games. Hopefully, he's gonna help his team retain the league title and probably win the UEFA Champions League title this season which I think will be more difficult.

yesterday's games were fun.

clermont played against rennes, this was a game involving two teams that are in a terrible decision, with clermont they are in the worst situation, they currently occupy the last position in the table and this game was a good opportunity for them to win and be able to have greater chances of getting out of the relegation zone, but they were very unlucky in this game. They started the game well, after 4 minutes Clermont scored 1 goal and it seemed that everything indicated that they could come out of this game with victory, but Clermont's defense was a complete disaster, they conceded goals that looked like amateurs were playing in defense. and then there was the red card thing, I didn't see any reason for the Clermont player to do that, he hurt the whole team. Then there was the penalty which, in my opinion, I also saw no reason for the Clermont player to do that. With this defeat, Clermond could be stampeding relegation

Toulouse played against Monaco, this game when I watched the highlights I was wondering how the Toulouse players didn't have calm and concentration they lost. They started by scoring a goal after 5 minutes, it looked like they could win or draw in this game, but 20 minutes later Monaco scored a goal and the game was tied, when it looked like the 1 half would end in a draw, the Toulouse player commits penalty and the Monaco player scored the second goal and the 1 half ended with Monaco's victory. Toulouse was supposed to avoid making mistakes, but it's unbelievable that the Toulouse player committed a foul on purpose and got a red card and with that, Toulouse no longer had any way to counter attacking Monaco. I think the Toulouse coach should draw attention to the player who had a red card

PSG played against Metz, in this game PSG was seen as the favorite. the game ended the 1 half without a goal, it seemed that despite Metz being heavily pressured they would be able to avoid a defeat in this game, but in the 2 half it was a nightmare for metz, with PSG scoring a goal after 49 minutes and then the mbapp scored 2 more goals and metz at least managed to score 1 goal. in this game it was once again obvious how mbappe is the best player to play nowadays but unfortunately the attention is always on messi and ronaldo even though they have already achieved everything and are at retirement age
