It's not even surprising me by seeing that if brest was the opponent from lorient in the previous match. It means if lorient has no chance to win against it. Im only saying it caused by brest was fully dominating the match without giving lorient chance to do counter attack.

It is like calling out any weak team from any league for having a bad defense. They are just small teams with very low budgets, so I prefer to judge a defense in relation to the possibilities a team has. From that point of view Lorient was doing ok last season. Monaco is third in the table and conceded 22 goals. In my opinion that makes their defense pretty bad. But conceding 35 goals in 17 games is too hard for any team to deal with and that is why it is bad. If they kept going at this level, they would end up with almost 80 goals conceded by the end of the season, which would be far worse than last season.

PSG will continue to appear consistently in League 1 because no other team can replace PSG at the top. Moreover, Nice is not that consistent so PSG is not too worried because PSG will be able to prepare for matches in League 1 and in the Champions League maturely. Even though last season I always liked betting on Lorient's win and was always able to make a profit, it's just that this season hasn't gone as well and I'm starting to hesitate to bet on their win. PSG on secure top standings position in Ligue 1 because they have 5 points remaining from Nice and seems difficult catch with PSG points, not really difficult for PSG keep their dominance in Ligue 1 although have inconsistent performance but the rival teams performance still not compete yet and they losses many points and failed close their points with PSG. Ligue 1 matches will begin on next months or get postponed more than three weeks later and PSG have getting many days how to get rest before facing Lens on next months.

PSG must improving their performance in Champion League, almost eliminated from group stage although last match get crucial points against Dortmund and success qualify to 16 of round. In Champion League match, PSG will face not really strong team Real Sociedad and seems they will be easily for setting quarter final phase.

Back in the Ligue 1 I think there isn't much competition for PSG but in the UCL the competition is far much different and theta why most often they don't find It really difficult getting to the top of the table and staying there long enough in the Ligue 1, although there are some inconsistency with PSG's performance but then they have managed to still stay at the top of the table.

In the UCL they need not bring the same performance they use at the Ligue 1 because I don't think they will be able to survive with such performance in the champions league, Real Sociedad isn't a really strong team but they are not a weak team and can't be underestimated although they are very inconsistent with their performance but will be able to make it a hard game for PSG because they aswell want to makes it to the quarter finals.
