Though Brest have been consistent in performance and with about 12-14 matches to go, I think them maintaining this consistency will see them having a UCL Spot.

 Lille and Nice are also on the chase but I don’t see them being able to overthrow Monaco and stretch to Brest. Though this is football and anything is quite possible within 90 mins of play and Brest too will need to be more determined if they want to attain the success of securing a UCL Ticket. Looking at these teams in the UCL, you’ll begin to wonder why they’re struggling to go to that competition only to end up departing at the group stage. I think if these clubs successfully feature in the competition then they should try to get right players to help them especially in the UCL as there they’ll meet more better teams across Europe.

Honestly yeah, I believe there is a chance for Marseille to make it to the Champions League. Because if you have noticed Lille, Nice and Lens all don't have a very good form recently. If these teams continue to show performances like this Marseille would capture a big opportunity to go for at least the fourth position which would take them to qualification phase in the Champions League. 

There are 10 more weeks to go. This means a potential 30 points but I'm not saying it like Marseille would win all of their remaining games.    But collecting a solid amount would be very useful for them.

I agree that Marseille has a chance, but at the same time I feel like do they even deserve it? I feel like there are so many teams in ligue 1 that did well enough for a few seasons but didn't capitalize on it and didn't get any better. Marseille is one of those teams, they did well for a while and then they did nothing afterwards, makes no sense to me at all.

I think the better judgement would be just focusing on what teams who when given a chance could do better. Look at Lyon as the biggest example, they won seven in a row, and did nothing with that, they were almost getting relegated, maybe they still could. Teams that capitalize on their wins and successful seasons would be what this league needs, not just taking the money and leave.

Marseille has had its ups and downs, when they, historically one of France's most successful clubs, has faced challenges and setbacks like any other team. Their history is full of inconsistencies may make poeple are doubtful about their current capabilities and potential for growth. Clubs that don't elevate their chance to maintain their developement shouldn't deserve any chance to compete at the highest level. This is why Ligue 1 is the least rated league in europe top five.

Their historical success and infrastructure suggest that they have the resources and potential to capitalize on their opportunities. Football is a dynamic sport, and success is not guaranteed, even for the most storied clubs, but maintainance is something should be done for the growth of the club and the league. Their point deficit from the top four shows that progress and success are still possible. They simply need that spark back. The domination of PSG may make Ligue 1 look like a one-horse contest, but that's not true. Marseille have history, fans, and the potential to make headlines and improve their standing and the league's reputation

Lens will host a club that is ranked 2nd in the standings this week, namely Brest. Lens are still having quite a hard time maintaining their stability this season, repeatedly they have had results that are not at all satisfactory. Now they are in 6th place in the standings with 39 points, from 11 wins, 6 draws and 7 defeats from the 24 matches they have played this season. With this situation, I think Brest still has a big chance to win even though their status is the visiting team.

Meanwhile, Brest is in 2nd place, their performance is much more stable than the opponents they will face now, in fact they had 3 consecutive wins before this match. Brest has advantages apart from the visiting team's status, but even so, as I said before, they have the opportunity to make Lens have to suffer defeat in front of their own fans. However, it is possible that in this match both clubs will play equally well and the match will end in a draw. I'm not interested in betting on this match, I feel it's a very big risk, so it's better for me to avoid it.  

The match between Lens versus Brest is a competition to secure tickets to the Champions League next season. On paper, Brest deserves to be superior because their statistics are slightly better at the moment. It is true that there is a possibility that this match will end in a draw, because Lens is lucky in terms of acting as host. Lens has the ambition to penetrate the Champions League zone, which is currently three points away, and it is not an easy job to secure full points when facing Brest. Betting on this match really requires consideration, because the strengths of the two teams are not much different.

On the other hand, the competition for the Champions League zone in Ligue 1 is likely to continue to be tight until the end of the season, while PSG will not be under significant pressure to lead the standings in the future. Brest, Monaco, Lille, Nice and Lens will pressure each other to secure Champions League tickets, and Marseille also seems to have a chance to enliven the competition. Brest is currently in the Champions League zone in second place but this is not completely convincing because the clubs below still have a chance, it's just that Brest is 4 points ahead and recently they haven't experienced a defeat and have only achieved 2 draws. If they can maintain his consistency then he can get the ticket and compete in big competitions. Monaco itself has remained in 3rd place for a long time and is also not said to be safe in being in the Champions League zone because it is only 1 point different from Lille.

But despite all that, let's try to suppose if Brest and Monaco get tickets to the Champions League later: for Monaco maybe I will not doubt their capacity to play in the Champions League because so far although they often fail in the Champions League but at least they have better experience playing in the Europa League, while Brest,  honestly maybe they look strong in the league this season, but it seems that for the Champions League it is clear they will be a barn of goals for other teams, besides, I am not sure if brest can bring in new players later to support their performance in the Champions League.

I mean Brest, Monaco and PSG will go to UCL next season, I am pretty sure of that three. However, I really do not think that Brest will be able to do all that great, it is not going to be all that simple. We are going to end up with something much worse, we are going to end up with something that will not take that much time. I feel like it is going to be hard for them to do anything at UCL because they are not a big club, and not really have a team culture that is too used to it.

There are much smaller teams, from nations that are smaller, but constantly goes there, which can do much better. We should consider Brest to be just a team who had one good year, but not sure if they could have that next season to be fair.

Lyon and Marseille are having great history in this French League, but sadly we are having now time which is giving them huge setbacks like we have Lyon break their 50 years worst performance record and Marseille which is currently at the 7th spot are trying their best for achieving top four which is surely never been easy while still chances are available but for having they need to give their best for the remaining last 10 games Lyon is surely now out of the UEFA competitions because they are having not ideal situation.

Marseille is having 10 points difference from the second spotted Brest with Monaco and Lille are also giving their best for the top four and Lens is also hopeful but who could be consistent and stay at the top level it's not easy to predict because mostly matches are unpredictable, but things are going interesting until last game of this season.

Before PSG dominating become the most winner in Ligue 1 there are has Lyon with their impressive performance and ever won six consecutives Ligue 1 trophy with their players Juninho. After PSG acquisition make Ligue 1 easily dominance by one club only and the most historical teams such as Lyon or Marseille get difficulty not only to pressure PSG for winning domestic league but also not easy for finishing on Champion League spot position.
Sadly with Lyon performance in last several season, I can't memorize well when the last time Lyon participants in Champion League or Europea League regarding difficult how to keep their consistency performance in domestic league. Lyon still outside from Europe League standings spot and I don't sure they will get one ticket for playing in European competition next season behind 12 points left from Nice as the latest spot for Europe League spot position.
