I agree that Marseille has a chance, but at the same time I feel like do they even deserve it? I feel like there are so many teams in ligue 1 that did well enough for a few seasons but didn't capitalize on it and didn't get any better. Competitive race are mainly for the elite clubs, we all know that but in scenarios where we see the top clubs fighting really hard to bounce back to winning shape, it's worth supporting. Marseille started on a wrong foot and they're trying their possible to ensure they make things right for their supporters, they're aiming to bring back the winning days. Olympique Marseille have become prominent and having solid winnings in games becomes trustable on their side.

You're right nice was one of my favorite team from the beginning of this season due to there performance it was overwhelming,but as time goes on I begin to experience some changes from the players that is when I started losing interest.talking about brest,brest was not doing well from the beginning of this season but they turns out to be in a very good form this time,with what I'm seen I think brest will be among the teams that will be in champions league next season,that's if they will maintain this form.

A team like Nice will find it difficult to compete consistently in Ligue 1 from the start of the season to the end of the season because they often only play defensively and will try to maintain their lead if they are already leading 1-0 even though that is not a safe score at all and you can see the average on their match results were filled with low scores, making Nice the team in the top five with the fewest goals and also the fewest goals conceded, so slowly but surely they started to lose a lot of points and made their ranking drop.

Likewise with Brest, maybe they will stay in the top three to get tickets to play in the Champions League next season, but that is also because they are helped by the teams below them who appear inconsistent. This week Brest will face Lens and this will be a big match this week, this will be a match that is difficult to predict because both teams can be said to have the same strength, and in many meetings the two teams beat each other, but it could end in a draw.

Brest is currently in the Champions League zone in second place but this is not completely convincing because the clubs below still have a chance, it's just that Brest is 4 points ahead and recently they haven't experience a defeated and have only achieved 2 draw. If they can maintain his consistency then he can get the ticket and compete in big competition. Monaco itself has remained in 3rd place for a long time and is also not said to be safe in being in the Champions League zone because it is only 1 point different from Lille.

The two clubs you mentioned Marseille and Lyon are popular clubs who experienced bad times at the start of the season but have made positive improvements and managed to continue adding points to be in the best position in the points table.
Talking about this opportunity, it could happen because if we look deeper, the club that has managed to reach its best position at the moment is actually making consistent improvements, while the club that is currently at the top has experienced a slight decline in performance and if Marseille really wants to get a ticket to the Champions League in next season, Marseille just needs to be consistent to continue adding points slowly and shift the clubs above them.
For Lyon, this club will continue to avoid the red zone, but getting a Champions League ticket seems very difficult.

I think the problem is not the budget to buy new players because in my opinion why Marseille playing with not consistent this season is because the fault is came from the owner of Marseille themself because they choose Genarro Gattuso as the replacement of Ivan Juric and we all know as a manager Gattuso career is not really good and he was often to sacked when handle the particular teams so some of fans were doubt Gattuso can be the right manager for Marseille and it just happend now that Marseille owner have to sacked him immediately because Marseille under Gattuso have no significant progress and now Marseille are in danger of not being able to play in the champions league according to their initial target this season

Just like i said previously Marseille under new manager has slightly good progress because they can able to gets 3 winning streak in all competitions and this week Marseille has tight schedules because in Europa league today they will facing Villarreal for round of 16 even so in Ligue 1 because Marseille will playing as a host against Nantes and let see it later whether Marseille can able to resumes their positive results from those matches or they will return to be unstable again

Marseille remained at average success in the league this year. They are in 7th place and 19 points away from the leader. They are 10 points away from Brest, which is in second place. The top spot in the French league belongs to PSG alone. There is no team that will perform better than them this year. It is also a pleasure to watch PSG in France.

I think Enrique should already think about alternatives because Mbappe seems determined to leave. If he's not going to go, the offer made to him must be like a dream. In this case, team dynamics are disrupted and unrest occurs among other players. If Mbappe behaves towards the players like the team owner, no one in the team can play the way they want. Mbappe is ultimately a football player and of course another player can fill his place.

I agree and I think him and the PSG chairman have already started to think about an alternative player to Mbappe. The League starts and we see some clubs doing pretty well with their major challenge being to hold on this improved form for a long time. The main challenge on maintaining this form is investment and most of these small teams don’t have the financial capacity to build up a formidable team. In the Ligue 1, we had Nice starting the season quite well and many though they’ll be that team to worry PSG just like Girona in the La Liga. Now Nice are lurking around 4th/5th and are struggling to get back to UCL Spot.

 They didn’t have the right determination in the team to build up and keep up their form for long. Now we’ve got Brest who’re doing currently at 2nd place and I feel they’re still not safe because the point difference is 4 and Monaco are also a good side. Though Brest have been consistent in performance and with about 12-14 matches to go, I think them maintaining this consistency will see them having a UCL Spot.

 Lille and Nice are also on the chase but I don’t see them being able to overthrow Monaco and stretch to Brest. Though this is football and anything is quite possible within 90 mins of play and Brest too will need to be more determined if they want to attain the success of securing a UCL Ticket. Looking at these teams in the UCL, you’ll begin to wonder why they’re struggling to go to that competition only to end up departing at the group stage. The bottom position of the standings now occupied by Clermont only has a difference of 7 points from Le Havre which is right on the border of the safety zone. Given that all teams still have problems and inconsistencies, it does not mean that Clermont can catch up and get out of the relegation zone. Especially if we look at Metz or Montpellier, they have a very big chance to get out of the relegation zone because they have fewer points than Clermont. Teams like Nantes, Lorient and Strasbourg are also not in a safe position, because they also still have a fairly close point difference. So with all that is happening at the bottom of the table, all possibilities are still very much possible. Their results in each match will determine their fate in the standings that will bring them whether they can still survive in Ligue 1 or have to go down to division 2.

With this all if they are able to secure Luis Enrique for some more time then surely we will have great improvement, and they could be able to give better performance in Champions League in future because this is their weak point, and they are trying their best for fixing this which is possible and if they are able to have this surely they could be superior in coming years which will be give them good success because with the sources of current owners they could be able to have success like Manchester City in all competitions.

Honestly yeah, I believe there is a chance for Marseille to make it to the Champions League. Because if you have noticed Lille, Nice and Lens all don't have a very good form recently. If these teams continue to show performances like this Marseille would capture a big opportunity to go for at least the fourth position which would take them to qualification phase in the Champions League. 

There are 10 more weeks to go. This means a potential 30 points but I'm not saying it like Marseille would win all of their remaining games.    But collecting a solid amount would be very useful for them.

If look at the performance of the other top team, this is not possible and gives Marseille the opportunity to at least occupy the top 3 positions and get the opportunity to compete in the UCL.
It just that if they really want ticket with safe place then runner-up is the rank they have to pursue, but if not then the top 3 positions can also provide that opportunity.
It just that, as I said before when they are in 3rd place, they have to pass the qualifications or play-offs.
But this is not easy because their opponents are several other team who also have to be in the play-offs to get to the group phase.

Hahaha it would be ridiculous to expect Marseille to win overall from the remaining matches, but being able to get 21 points with 7 wins from the remaining 10 matches is very good achievement.

With 14 games remaining of course all possibilities can happen including Marseille ending the season in the Champions League zone, Marseille biggest chance to go to the Champions League is still open if if they can consistently win and hope Monaco can drop points in their matches, currently Monaco is the 3rd team in Ligue 1 and Marseille has the closest distance to Monaco at the moment with only 6 points,  Although fairly close but still all possibilities can happen Lens, Lille and Nice are also eyeing the last ticket to the Champions League at this time, but actually the chances of the 4 teams to be in the Champions League next season are as great as Marseille, Lille, Lens and Nice will still meet in the next few weeks.
