PSG was leading the game by owning more ball possessions but monaco was able creating more shot on target rather than PSG. it's surprising me how no goal happened from this match. There's something wrong with PSG and monaco. These clubs have been so wasteful in this game.
As you can see that monaco and PSG wasted so many chances. This is also making no change in the current standing. PSG is still leading the competition with very big gap to the second place. PSG has been performing so badly especially for the attacking lines.
These attackers were unable in maximizIng its chances to scored at least one goal against monaco. The thing that impressed me is barcola. This guy is relaly having a lot of potential to be the next great winger.

Enrique has been getting very good talent to replace mbappe and he was barcola. The bad result against monaco can be a good lesson for PSG to perform better in the upcoming games. It can still lead the game with very big gap. I see that several time PSG's players are always shooting straight to the ball instead of aiming the free space to put ball in the back of the net.
This is really awful performance from the expensive attackers owned by PSG. I salute to the defensive line of monaco caused by it was able blocking so many attacks from SPG. Totally unpredictable result.
It's hard to understand that the result is very different compared to the first leg.

The League match between these two teams were getting intensed especially as Monacco were in a bid to steal a point or more to maintain their stand on Ucl qualification next year. This match happens to be one match that was a stepper to actualizing that dream. Before this match, We had Monacco who got all 3 points in the last match and they played exceedingly well. In this match, though Monacco weren’t at their best but they put up a performance that’s considered to be that of warriors.

 PSG who played away were very poor in this match and this has shown that this PSG side is one team that can’t be relied on. The attackers are doing little or nothin in making this club be a productive side and it’s quite worrisome that this is the case after the much spent on the club. Well they just got a new coach who’s trying to balance the team and it’s quite understandable. Yes they’re leading the league standings with a very good number of points and for that I think they don’t have much a worry rather they’ve got to try to improve especially for a competition like the UCL.

 For Monacco, they were pretty good with the shots but weren’t able to convert them to goal and that shows the need for the team investing. Investment is what gets a team to attain a great level of productivity and that’s what Monacco needs at this point as they’re and could be heading to the UCL next season. In all the match was sure a great match and I think both teams had one or two correcetions to take home after this match as it’ll help the team in general to grow better for future matches.

Yesterday in the French Ligue 1, Monaco hosted French champions Paris Saint Germaine at the famous Stade Louis II stadium in Monaco and for a game that many predicted will produce a lot of goals, it ended goalless and that I think made a lot of people to lose their stakes. Paris Saint Germaine who has win the league in the last seven seasons are trying to make sure they retain it at the end of the season and make it eight in a row but their host Monaco made sure that Paris Saint Germaine didn't leave their home with all three points.

That being said, I don't think the result of the match was the talking point in that game rather the decision of Paris Saint Germaine manager Luis Enrique to substitute Kylian Mbappe off from the game at halftime which happens to be the second consecutive time the France national team captain wasn't allowed to play 90 minutes. After the final whistle of Paris Saint Germaine's previous before their visit to Monaco, Luis Enrique was asked why he decided to substitute Kylian Mbappe from the game and his answer was that Kylian Mbappe will be leaving the club very soon and that's why they must learn how to play without him and that I also think is the reason why he also subbed him off at halftime.

Kylian Mbappe will leave the club at the end of the season and from recent reports, he's definitely gonna join Real Madrid but that I don't think should be the reason why he should always be subbed off during games. The club manager must learn to respect him by allowing him play games for the club

Marseille played away against Clermont and the match has started, and Iliman Ndiaye managed to make the first goal for Marseille in the 23rd minute. Despite the fact that in this season Marseille is very bad for away matches but yes, because in this match Marseille played against Clermont who was at the bottom of the table then yes, it was a must for Marseille to be able to win away in this match. Marseille victory by 5 goals was impressive even though they were playing in front of a team sitting in the relegation zone. They have to do that when facing bigger teams like PSG or Monaco for example. These both teams played against each other and their match ended with a goalless draw.

Mbappe has confirmed that he will be leaving PSG by the end of this season and Real Madrid remains his biggest and most anticipated destination after PSG but then PSG is definitely going to feel the absence of mbappe and even til now he's not stop playing well in PSG which shows his willing .

Nothing new. He has to secure his future since playing with a team like PSG won't guarantee anything for him except Ligue 1 title and some minor trophies like French Cup one. Championship League is hard to achieve by them at the opposite of Real Madrid.

Since Marseille was handled by Jean-Louis Gasset, in his 3 matches he succeeded in bringing his squad to 3 wins. one in the Europa League, two in Ligue 1. although Marseille's opponents are Shaktar in the Europa League, Montpellier and Clermont. however, the coach has proven that he is at least better than Marselino and Gattuso in his initial tenure. In the match against Clermont, Marseille was able to take the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal scored by Ndieaye. towards the end of the second half, the home team was able to equalize 1-1. but after that Jean-Louis Gasset's team stepped on the gas and were able to beat the home team with a final score of 1-5.

In fact, it is natural that Marseille would be able to win the match against Clermont. because the home team is the resident of the red zone with the lowest ranking. moreover, referring to the course of the match, Marseille had more control over the course of the match and so based on every opportunity they had. It was recorded that Marseille had 17 total shots, 11 of which were on target and 6 were big opportunities. Marseille should have scored more goals than that. but no matter how many goals they score, the points remain the same 3 points.

Monaco is not a weak team this season unlike last season that they finished in six place in table but this time around they are after champion league zone, but yesterday match really surprised me because Monaco don't have good record in times of home match compared to away match, but to hold PSG to draw that show they are  very serious, if brest can win their next match the points gap between them and PSG will reduce and will increase between them and Monaco, with the way am viewing things PSG will win the league and brest will be the runner-up, the third place will be between Monaco and Nice, Monaco are just in third place temporary, if Nice can win their next match against Toulouse but I find it hard for Nice to win because of their performance, I can guarantee Nice win because yesterday match between PSG and Monaco, I was shocked to see the results.

I would understand them not being a weak team, but with PSG spending three times more money than any other team, I would have expected them to get the win here. I think it should be clear that we are not going to end up with a win all that easily, it is going to change a lot eventually. I hope that people could have some sort of discussion regards to their manager, and even their owner as well. Lille won with a single goal away to Reims.Both teams didn't have many positions during the match, but we can say that Lille won the match with the difference in the quality of their squad.They should be happy to come back from a difficult away with 3 points because the points difference with their rivals is small and they are in a fierce fight.
Marseille, on the other hand, showered the bottom of the league with goals.This win was important for their recovery.They have a strong squad and I don't think they deserve to be where they are now.The points difference with their rivals is not much but they need to win back-to-back wins.They still have a chance to catch up with their rivals and they will be in a fierce race for the top 3.They got the 3 points with a good game against Clermont.

Brest's chances of being able to achieve maximum results this week are quite wide open, they will host Le Havre who are still struggling at the bottom of the standings, so this is a great opportunity for Brest to be able to get 3 points. Le Havre themselves finished their last 5 matches without even winning, they only got 2 draws and 3 others ended in defeat. While Brest can get 2 wins, although 3 other matches must end with a draw, but of course it is a better result than the opponents they will face.

Brest itself is trying hard to secure their position in 2nd place in the standings, because Monaco who is right below them also continues to stick tight. They also definitely want to get closer to Paris Saint Germain, but considering their distance is 12 points now it is something that will be very difficult to do. Since got promoted to Ligue 1 Brest was never fight for Champion League spots before but this season they clearly different because Brest performance is quite impressive which make Brest can able to gets second places on league standings and i think their chances to playing at European competitions for next season will be wide open and today Brest want to resumes their winning streak by attempts to beat Le Havre and actually Le Havre target want to avoiding relegation zone because their position is still not secured but it's quite hard for them because their opponent Brest in the good condition

Currently there is not much that Ligue 1 clubs can hope for apart from just finishing as high as possible in the standings, while for the title it is definitely just a dream for them because no one will be able to break PSG dominance to day,  most realistic option for Other teams besides PSG in Ligue 1 have only qualified for the Champions League, even though they realize that they won't be able to survive in the Champions League for long, but at least their can earn a little money from playing in the Champions League.

Marseille is in 6th place in the standings and still needs lot of wins to improve its standings until this season competition ends.
It just that I also admit that Marseille performance in the last 3 matches was truly extraordinary, they won with big scores of 3 - 1, 4 - 1 and 5 - 1, this was truly victory that made all Marseille fans cheer with joy.
Maybe all of this is proof that Jean-Louis Gasset performance as coach has really produced satisfactory results and seeing all the players in these 3 matches really looks different from the previous few matches which were just draws and defeats.
Hopefully this will be good start for Marseille in the future by finishing the season and for the development of next season to be even better.

Marseille's overwhelming win over Clermont was surprising given their recent form. As Jean-Louis Gasset instructed, they reset.
