If Mbappe is really unhappy then he should not be kept in the team. Mbappe is still young, he is somewhat selfish. He prefers to score goals alone. Yes its a good deal for lyon a quality player to add especially after depay is gone they need new big names but they have defensive issues they always conceid goals and they conceided three in the last two games i think the manager need to review his choices.

Equally confusing is how Real Madrid can afford to pay such a huge fee. Unless they are planning to structure the deal by paying 1m a year for 160 years

Business wise, its such a bad idea to object to such amount at such crucial time, especially when the player is very much willing to leave the team. That's a lot of profit that a team would be willing to loose on a player to free transfer all in the name of a dream team should his contract with the club expires. You can be sure he won't renew and that would be a straight up free transfer. Though, the team as it is now, with Neymar, Messi and Mbappe, it was going to be a complete dominance of the league 1 and a very strong competition for the internal club games. Weird scene to see the fans fighting the players, last I can remember was malice in palace for NBA, and do not remember this much clear conflict in anything major, probably it did happen between those years, nearly 20 years since then but I have to say I do not remember it.
