Great start for PSG absolutely. They are going to be the number one candidate for the title already of course. Clermont weren't a team that can hold them back in this match. PSG demolished them by 5-0. The league would most probably be easy for them again. We will see the other big teams of the league about how capable they are too. Monaco already started with a victory against Strasbourg in a quite tough match. They missed the second spot in the last moment last season but maybe they will do better this time.

Great start for PSG with their new coach, they deserved to celebrate this big win. The chemistry between Neymar and Messi looks very strong, 3 of the 5 goals that PSG have scored in this match were born from them. PSG need to maintain a strong chemistry between players when they play in the Champions League to show their quality as one of the strong teams, PSG must be able to impress and go further in the Champions League.
Now a big task awaits Christophe Galtier, he must answer the trust placed in him by leading PSG to the UCL Final and winning his first trophy.

PSG made a great start to league 1. He defeated his opponent with a result of 5-0. In this match, Messi and Neymar turned it into a show, and it was clear from their faces that they were really enjoyable even at the beginning of the match. Messi's last goal is so epic. I am very curious about how they will be against more difficult opponents in the champions league this year.

Nice secured a draw vs Toulouse but this isn't a good start after all for them..
Lille scored 4 goals vs Auxerre, quite good result although Auxerre is a new coming team so not that strong one.
Lens and Montpellier are leading with 3 goals to 2 each with only few minutes left. If the results end like that, I would say that there isn't unexpected results except Nice obviously..

It is difficult to call this a great achievement considering the difference in the class of teams. PSG could have achieved victory even with the help of a reserve squad. Probably Clermont can just not take the field against PSG today, the result will be about the same. I think PSG will easily win their first game, especially against such a weak opponent. Harmony between players must be maintained by Galtier to achieve a pleasant final goal. PSG's big win was the start of a beautiful career for Galtier as a coach, there are still a lot of games to go through this season. Really don’t see how Marseille is going to lose the match against Reims. Marseille is a better team compared to Reims. I think they are able to win this match quite easily. Unless of course, it is one of those days when the better team is rusty and the weaker opponent is playing with the maximum confidence ever. If everything works out correctly, Marseille should win this match. And I am expecting them and Monaco to be one of the top four contenders in the league.

PSG won their first game of the season with ease and it's great that Messi is starting to get back on his feet and be more active in finding possition to score. He could have come close to scoring a hat-trick if his hard-kick couldn't be saved by Diaw just minutes from time, but two goals and an assist are also very good for him.

I feel the same way too, i believe that trio will click this season and be better than they were last season, many people have criticized them too much, but those critics have to know that last season was just their first season together, i mean all three of them, because messi only joined last season, now that a season is gone, they can assess what didn't go well last time and make changes positively, when mbappe joins them it is going to be scary for opponents.

Messi has to perform better, he knows it, this is a world cup year, his last one too, so he has to be in the best shape leading to the world tournament, as for the champions league, i can't write psg off this season, i think they will get to the final, i don't know if they will win it, but i think they will go as far as the final, well as for the French league, it is theirs to lose.

PSG finally showing us what they could do with their trio. I mean Mbappe could be missing but they had Messi and Neymar scoring and that was the only thing that was needed. The whole idea is that they have three players who are at the superstar level, you can't get better than that and they are using this trio in a way that if one of them is not doing well then other two would, and if two does not so well at least one could try to survive, and if all three plays well then there is no team that can stand against them.

Hence, this 5-0 start is very important, maybe the game itself was unimportant but how they played to show the world what they are capable of was important.

People know Luis Suarez from La Liga, he played for Granada and his stats were pretty good comparing to his team's attacking quality. He had a great start in French league. Arkadiusz Milik should think about this, his jersey is not guaranteed here. Marseille's bench is so good, when you look at players who's in today you see Suarez, Bakambu, Payet. That's really scary attacking power.
It was a great four goals start, that gave us some signals how good Marseille can be this season. I wish they can be a threat to Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season so we can watch more competitive local league.
