PSG will be among the top teams in the Champions League next season. I think the team is in proper shape and they can oppose any team presently with their squad and the new coach coming in. They will basically look forward to entangled with more high competition next season, just hope the new coach can use this present squad actively without any problem or excuse. We all know the PSG Squad is one of the best 11 in football and they coming together will be strategicable idea to execute.

Another season ... another huge expectation for a team full of stars like psg , but you know what? They are disappointing everyone at the end of the season ... winning champions league still become their main target as they used to win the domestic league.
We'll see it , one thing is almost sure for me that psg might get better every year so beware!

ligue 1 became like nothing for a team like psg, all the fans are just expecting to win the Champions league every year, I believe that it's gonna happen for sure if not this year, Christophe Galtier can actually make it happen, as you said psg is a team full of stars, so what missing has to be a good coach and a good strategy.

The team is so unlucky, i don't think the coach is the main reason because they really had some great coaches in the previous years but psg always fail to get the title, next year will be crucial for the club and they must do the impossible to win the ucl

I also think PSG is unlucky. PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi spent a lot of money building up the team last season. But the performance of the team was not good. They performed erratically. And so they could not win the Champions League title. Unfortunately, they lost against Real Madrid. Christophe Galtier's main target next season will be the Champions League. If the performance of the team is stable, maybe PSG can win the Champions League.

As the French league is about to start for next season, are there plans by other clubs to put nice competition to psg or will it be as usual. The squad of psg is overwhelming and the salary scale of the players. I wish there could be meger of clubs to fight psg for the trophy. there isn't any league that competitive besides the premier league or Serie A. Ligue 1 is one of the leagues dominated by 1 club (PSG), Bundesliga (Munchen), Eredivisie (Ajax) so if you want to make the merger, I think it's impossible because they have a lot to do legal unite with 2 sides. they also have to think about fans, which I think is difficult to put together in a stadium. So, there is no other way to create a club like PSG

PSG is going to dominant in next season again with same situation which is going around for few years with no team is going to challenge them and all are fighting hard for remaining spots Marseille and Monaco are going to have some better squads with no other team is consistent in this league like we have two other leagues in Europe Bundesliga dominant by FC Bayern Munich and Eredivisie Ajax but now PSV improving quality and giving good challenge.

Sadly French League is completely lack of investment for other clubs which is big issue for them, and they are struggling in quality if French Soccer authorities can bring some better rules which give benefit to lower rank teams then surely we can expect some challenge which is currently no happening.

Agree with what you say, regardless of what happens in the domestic league and no matter how strong PSG is there, this is still not a benchmark especially in this case we are talking at a different level because the Champions are the kings of all popular leagues.
Their chances are still there but saying this seed could have set expectations too high. even though for the knockout phase they can still be there but after that the fight just starts.

Good decision he better leave for good now. Leaving Liverpool nfir me was not a good option in the first place he had game time and the fans loved him. He has won it all for club side winning the Champions League and also the premier league. Now he has won thr French League again. He is not the typical player needed for PSG right now I don't even see him staying and fitting into the new coaches tactics.
All that is need for him to aquire bis the world Cup and that will be hard but not impossible. Yes at Roma will have a better chance than PSG Mourinho is well know for using experienced players to play.

There is a big difference between "being the best team" and "having the best 11". I mean PSG certainly has one of the best 11 if you just read the rosters, but I am talking about READING the rosters here, that's very important distinction. However, if you end up watching them, you will see that they are not best team when playing.

This is why they changed their manager, it should be quite possible for them to win the UCL with this roster but they keep on failing, which means something is wrong with them. Hence, new manager will have a ton of new work to do, it will take a while before they could actually provide proof of how good they are. They won the league last year and lost at quarter finals of UCL, we have months and months until that time again.

I think his contribution at PSG was not as expected. He moved from Liverpool to earn a good place at PSG but that wasn't the case and he sank like nothing. He may have to consider moving to another team for the sake of his future, I think it's a good idea and he has to accept it. While Milan will probably be in the forefront to get his signature, there I think Wijnaldum will be better.

Wijnaldum was a solid player in Liverpool. He was anchoring the midfield for many seasons and after moving to PSG, I expected him to take a similarly pivotal role, but has instead failed to show the same consistency that was his hallmark under Jurgen Klopp. I don’t really know what went wrong. But Pochettino's playing system was a factor also. Now PSG new manager has a new system and Wijnaldum doesn’t still suit the system and that’s why he needed out of the team. Bernardo Silva played really well last season and was one of the most important actors there, but aren't PSG in too much of a hurry for this? don't they have great midfielders? They still have Ander Herrera, Pablo Sarabia and Wijnaldum in that position, I think PSG's decision is the wrong one.
