He is not a striker or a player who can score a lot of goals, and that will prevent him from being better than other players like Vinicius, Rodrygo and some other strikers but it is still possible he will be better than other defensive midfielders at Real Madrid.

Who does not know Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, they are the best midfielders in the history of Football, both of whom are also the motor of Barcelona's attack. Neymar is such a high quality player that selling him or "getting rid of him" is not really an ideal situation for any player. Yes, he hasn't been around and yes he missed plenty of games so far, both of those are correct statements.

But you need just one season, one season of him playing at his absolute best and along with Mbappe, that would be crucial beast playing that will get them the UCL cup. They do not even need him to play during the regular season domestic league, they just need him for the last 10 games of the champions league, if they win those, they would be fine with him playing zero games in ligue1, would be weird but still happy situation.

I think this is one of the powers that Mbappe has at PSG and we know that the relationship between neymar and mbappe is not harmonious so far, so it looks like mbappe is asking PSG to get rid of neymar for disciplinary reasons in the training session and the team recovery routine, I think neymar performance last season was the decline is quite natural because he is often injured, but so far we know that when Neymar is in a fit and healthy condition, he is able to shows a pretty good performance, I personally suspect if PSG decision to throw Neymar is not because of his declining performance this season but is a form of selfishness mbappe after getting privileges at PSG.

I also thought that the squad is pretty much ok and maybe some tweaks in the midfield were needed. But other than that I think they have a very good squad. The problem is that they don't have a coach right now and Christophe Galtier who they are about to get is not much better compared to Mauricio Pochettino. I don't know why anyone is going to tell Neymar, that he is not needed anymore. We all know that he is obviously one of the best. Probably they want to sell him so that they can make some money and buy a good midfielder.

Basically it's not about being prone to injury and not playing well, there are internal problems going on and it's not even Chelsea and Juventus that are interested, but PSG themselves who offered Neymar to these two teams.
