You are right to a certain degree, but I would argue that he still belongs to the players who play the best assists ever. Mbappe's turbo goal after 8 seconds is a classic example: the pass is exactly where it has to come down and Mbappe just needs to finish. He still creates great chances and he can still score in a much smarter way then the average player. He hardly uses force.

I wouldn't say that he is the same he used to be, but he can still play in the best leagues and against the best teams. I would not be surprised if he scores some important goals not only in Ligue 1, but especially in the champions league or even the world cup.

Can this be considered a great achievement in a club that scores an average of 4 goals per game (and therefore dominate all rivals)? Everything is relative, I think that the vast majority of midfielders who play in the top divisions of the national championships would have shown no worse results when playing at PSG.

No it can't be and this is why I specifically mentioned the champions league and the teams they might be facing there. I don't consider 10 goals in Ligue 1 the same as 10 goals in the Premier League. But I am sure that Messi could still play an amazing offensive midfield role for Manchester City. We won't find that out, but Messi still has the speed and extremely smart ideas to put other players into perfect action.

Marseille started this season very well, if they are able to be consistent I think Marseille will be PSG's competitor to win the league even though Marseille are still inferior in quality to PSG but it is not impossible that their consistency will be able to match PSG who sometimes have ups and downs in performance.

There is already enough publicity for psg and the Ligue 1, buying any more high profile stars to psg will only bring more ffp bans and fines to the club, it will also make their team uncoachable, the manager will find it very difficult to cope with all the stars, and giving them instructions that they may likely follow is something that may possibly happen. Ronaldo is a Manchester United player for now, and he may well likely stay that way until the end of this season, no good club seems to be interested in him.

i will only comment on messi, he was absolutely brilliant, his performance was absolutely outstanding even at his age.
his ingenuity provided two assists and could be maximized by mbappe to make it a goal.

Mbappe's two goals brought the position of the top scorer for most goals equaling his teammate Neymar. and if regarding the recent transfer rumors regarding Neymar some media reports reported, Guardiola turned it down for fear of falling out with his new striker Haaland.
as for galtier's other reasons, he claims that the players won't always be running the game all the time for 90 minutes. however, unfortunately in that match psg had a big loss because the midfielder vithinha was injured.

I don't know whether this can really be considered a test. It's a bit interesting that he lets Messi play the full distance while bringing Neymar from the bench and taking Mbappe off since Messi is the oldest. Despite that he seems to be fit and without any physical issues. The thing is that PSG has less wake up moments where the get under pressure and understand that they need to step up their game. That is different in most other important European leagues where clubs understand quickly that if they don't win, someone else will and win the title in the end. If you miss this feeling for half a year and then go against the most serious competitors in Europe, that might sometimes be the tiny bit that PSG is lacking. What I do like is that Messi doesn't look tired or anything. He is motivated for now and fun to watch.
