Lens have surprised me more than any other team this Ligue 1 season. They played very well all season and finished in second place, just one point behind PSG. That is, they could have been winners if it wasn't for a few upsetting losses. This season was a nervous one for PSG, but they still managed to win first place.

The quality of the players of Lens team is very good. I think if Lens can perform better then Lens can go to the 1st position very fast. Goalkeeper of Lens team J. Leca performed very well. Goalkeeper of a team plays a big role behind winning the match.  A.  Claude Maurice This player performs very well in almost every match. Lens team has several players who play a big role in winning every match.

The benefit Lens has right now is that PSG is getting rid of some of their players, we are not going to know 100% all of them for a while longer, but we know Messi is gone, that much we know and there are speculations about some other players as well. Obviously they are going to replace them with some other players as well but we do not know if those players will be better or worse just yet, they need to first get here, train and then start playing so we can see if they are better or not.

I believe that it is going to take a while, but for Lens luck, if the players they get turn out to be not that great and do not provide better results then we could see Lens doing better. But just as well we can see Lens sell some players, be worse, and PSG getting newer better players and be even better, which is the more likely outcome.

PSG had enough players to win better achievements for PSG, and they had enough investment for this team the investment could bring this team to the final of the champions league but because of the unbalanced situation and not having a good and expert coach to manage the team, they just won the French league title while even if the French league they had a close race with Lens.

For me personally, just being champions in Ligue 1 is not enough for Paris Saint Germain, because here they really dominate and no team has the same strength as them. They are far superior in any way than any other team. The Champions League should be a place for them, but in reality their luxurious squad cannot speak much in that competition. They are less competitive than other big teams in the Champions League.

PSG has been spending so much money for the club. It makes sense if PSG was putting more target rather than alwasy winning farmer league. It will be very disappointed after spent so much money and PSG gets nothing other than league 1 trophy. It has proven that if coach has no capability to build the team properly. I would not be surprised to see that if PSG is willing to replace the current coach with the new coach.

PSG needs more than only overhaul on its team and coach. It must also try to do the same to the management of club as well.

I hope PSG will sign a good coach that can change the club to be even better.

It seems like the players are leaving PSG just after the end of the season and Messi is one of them also Sergio Ramos and Neymar also maybe other player leave this team soon because they couldn't get anything when they came to PSG to have a better chance to achieving more goals but in fact, the fans are very much unhappy and this negative effect is one reason for PSG the players to leave.
I think the owner of PSG will be spending more money for next season and they know spending money will not help them achieve anything.
Next season will be much harder for PSG and any coach working on this team.

I never expected less from the PSG side even the fans, they boobed football, they mocked one of the greatest footballer of all time. If the PSG team are looking for whom to blame they should look in the mirror and blame whoever they see.
PSG is a team that's full of pride and they have such players. No matter how they do it I have said it time without number that they can't compete in any European competitions, and I'll always call them domestic champions.
Since they can't appreciate Messi and football for that matter that's how their mentality would always end up by winning only their league trophies which is bad for a big club as PSG.

I mentioned this before somewhere in this thread that the PSG fans are yet to understand what kind of club they are actually supporting. They will never get this feeling of hardcore Madridistas  or even Roma fans. They have decided to support a club that is packed with money and buying big names. But as you said, mocking Messi is wrong in many ways. It either demonstrates their own competence in both reading and soccer itself because Messi has produced one of the best scorer statistics this season in Ligue 1. It is Mbappe now thanks to his goalon the last match day or otherwise Messi would have shared rank 1 with Mbappe and one other guy. And he also won the World Cup and has proven again that he is the best in the world. It is still a joy to watch him play even if his pace is on decline, but his understanding of the whole game as a chess-like set up and how he understands to place the ball here or there in order to give his team mates the best position possible is unique and has always been one of a kind. I'm not of the opinion that Kylian Mbappe should leave Paris Saint Germaine in other to achieve his football goals of winning the many trophies especially the UEFA Champions League competition.
PSG's problem if you ask me is lack of good tactical work by the manager of the club. He always looks like someone who's always out of ideas especially from losing positions in the league. If Paris Saint Germaine can get a more experienced coach and also sign few more players, I think Mbappe can win anything he dreams of winning with PSG

Now we have end of this season with Messi and Neymar both are going to leave most chances Mbappé will stay here for some more time because now he will be alone at front and surely can do better things as he wants because he was not comfortable with Neymar, so now things are change and most chances we will be having Mourinho as new PSG coach which will be good if we have completed this deal in next few weeks because he can do changes which are required at PSG.

Secondly I am feeling it's never been managerial mistakes which prevent PSG to win from Champions League because mostly we need good combo of manager and owner which bring good success like we have in Chelsea few years back here we need soccer loving heart no rich and who try to achieve best with his money instead of going with quality and perfection which is also good way to win trophies like we have in Liverpool.

It looks like Lacazette's return to the Ligue 1 and his old team Lyon has been beneficial for only himself. Because despite his really impressive fight for being top scorer together with Mbappe, Lyon still couldn't even qualify for the Conference League. It is like I watched Tottenham in the English Premier League. Kane and Lacazette are sharing the same fate for this season I'm afraid.

While Kane was scoring 30 goals and Lacazette also scored 27 goals. They both must be players who are enjoying their own games. But I'm pretty sure that Lacazette also did this to be more competitive and join a European cup at the end. He must have missed to play especially in the Champions League.

But with this level of inconsistency even Lacazette's amazing effort can't save them.

Lyon was performing poor at the beginning of season that from 10 matches Lyon was only collect 14 points and this also caused the previous manager Peter Bosz has been sacked and replaced by Laurent Blanc and i think Laurent Blanc did a good job with improved Lyon position at the end of league because their position could worst than now and regarding to playing at european competition they have been absense for 2 years because last time Lyon was playing at europa league on season 2020/2021

Lacazette was never able to performing well at Arsenal and maybe that's why Arsenal didn't extended his contract and last year he was moved to Lyon with free transfer and surprisingly he can able to find his shape again at this team and he is very important player for Lyon and this season Lyon were scores 65 goals from 38 matches and 27 of those total goals is came from Lacazette

At the beginning of the season, the Monaco team was in good form, but they were not able to continue the performance. Gradually their performance has been erratic and they are falling behind in the points table. Monaco have lost 11 matches this season. And Monaco's erratic performance was due to their poor defense. If Monaco's defense had been strong this season I think the team would have been in the top 3 of the table on points. And so next season Monaco's management will have to be more focused on their defense.

it's a pity, Monaco failed to maintain their good performance at the start of the season, out of the 38 matches that occurred, Monaco only succeeded in making 19 wins but they lost 11 times. Without any doubt it's shameful end of this season for the Monaco because just few weeks back they were favorite for the staying into top three but at the end we have sixth spot for them with no chance for the UEFA events in this season. Winning the France League title is a regular occurrence for PSG but their main target is the Champions League trophy which they have so far failed to win. They kept players like Mbappe and signed big name players like Messi to their club only to win Champions League trophy but to no avail. The team was eliminated early in the Champions League after losing to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.  Until now they believed that they can win the Champions League trophy but now they may not have that belief because Lionel Messi has left the club, Neymar may leave PSG and Mbappe is likely to be signed by Real Madrid. Sergio Ramos may join the Saudi League. If these key players of the team are gone, it will be difficult for them to win the league title.

I don't know if Neymar can find himself a team in Europe at the moment. His contract expires in 2025 so interested teams have to pay a transfer fee as well. The reason why I stated it is that his market value is still 70 million euros. Of course PSG wouldn't demand that much for a 31-year-old player. But I wouldn't expect them to demand less than 40-50 million euros anyway. Moreover as far as I know his current salary is 36 million euros per year which is an enormous sum.

I don't know if there would still be a team to be okay for meeting all these demands. Hence I expect him to stay here for a long time unless he gets an offer from outside Europe. As for Mbappe I don't expect him to leave this summer either. But for next season it is doubtful. The team will not be able to progress if it only relies on one player, like Lacazette at Lyon and Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur. But even though for next season Lyon will not join any European competition, at least they are better than last season. expectations were too high for Messi so that when it didn't live up to expectations then he was considered a failure even though actually if you look at his statistics with PSG it wasn't too bad but because he was brought in to be able to become a superstar in the team of course it was a little disappointing but I think considering Messi's age who are not young anymore it is very reasonable.

Messi's departure will not have any effect on PSG in my opinion, in fact this way can make the PSG team more flexible to find a replacement.
Neymar and Mbappe are already very good up front, they just need to find the right partner and also improve the defense sector and also the midfield.
the PSG team is very strong in the French league but on the European stage they are still mediocre and it takes a process and also a longer time for them to be respected on the European stage.

During this season, even though Lens failed to win Ligue 1, Lens managed to become Runner up and the only club in Ligue 1 that competed with PSG. If you look at their last 5 matches, Lens managed to clean sweeps with successive wins without defeat and that indicates that their club is worthy. get into the UCL next season plus they also have the potential to challenge PSG again next season if they keep all the current players and also the coaching manager.

I admit betting for Lens so far I often get wins as well as profits so it doesn't disappoint me while betting in Ligue 1 because so far Lens has performed very well with their best players.

As a footballer, it's always important to feel valued and supported in order to settle down with your family then you truly enjoy your football. Unfortunately, it seems that the Parisian club wasn't able to provide that environment for Messi. Despite having such an expensive player on their team, they consistently underperformed on the UEFA Champions League stage due to poor management and proper maintenance of the department. As you pointed out, their defense was particularly vulnerable throughout the season and they completely underestimate that. This just goes to show that money alone can't guarantee success overnight. It takes a combination of factors, including strong leadership, teamwork, and careful planning to create a winning team at every stage of football tournaments.

I admit that Lens is one of the great teams and can always be relied on in every game but to be honest I can only get a few benefits because I rarely risk it.
Maybe those of you who often follow matches from the French League, especially when Lens is playing, can get a lot of benefits when betting it.
But I myself prefer when those who play PSG are going to bet because it tells me the chances of winning are quite large.
