In the French Soccer League today Nice vs Rennes two team match, Nice team won the match today by scoring 2 goals. Enjoyed a very good game in the first half between the two teams. Nice team player J. Boga scored the first goal in 45 minutes. S.  Mandanda scored the 2nd goal in the match in 87 minutes. Nice team played very well from the beginning to the end of the game for which Nice team won by 2 goals in today's match. Rennes team did not score any goals in this match.  Rennes team player.

PSG's performance seems consistent to me now...

PSG performance is fluctuating and right now they aren't that bad since Mbappe is playing good and scoring, otherwise they wouldn't be in the first place at all.
When we talk about performance, I wonder know if Lyon will be able to play good again before relegating? That seems to be quite hard apparently even with a new coach. A draw with Metz home? That's the best they can do? The players are suffering a lot psychologically, they don't agree with their coach strategy...

Considering the quality of players at Paris Saint Germaine, I don't think the team will automatically begin to lose matches when Kylian Mbappe is out injured. In every team, there's always a star player which the manager builds the team around but that doesn't mean that whenever the player is absent the whole team becomes incapacitated to win games.
Kylian Mbappe is a big player that any manager in the world will definitely want to build his team around and and I don't see anything wrong with that. Paris Saint Germaine looks like a team who's back to their best and it's actually a goodnews to the club fans.

I think that's the more reason why PSG is tried so hard and even came up with different strategies to keep him in the club this summer and I believe they might still consider persuading him cause they know his capabilities and that it would've been very tough for them this season without Mbappé,  he's been the saviour of the club this season cause he's currently their the player in the team with the highest goal and it's helped taken them to the top with just a point behind Nice who are currently their strongest competitor this season.

 So far Lyon has been surprisingly underperforming I didn't expect such a poor performance from them cause they're not a mediocre team in the Ligue 1, but they're performing like a team that just newly graduated into the league out of 10 matches they've not won any, they can only boost of 4 draws and the rest are loses, they need to figure out how to improve their team else they night end up being relegated.

Such efficiency in defense is impressive, but the attack is very weak if we are talking about a team that aspires to something. But they have three games ahead of them against teams from the middle/bottom of the standings, so they will be able to maintain their minimal advantage over PSG for some time.

Great to see that there is a very strong competition in the French Ligue 1 on who will go home with the league title at the end of the season. The league was before regarded by many as a "one club" league but with what we've seen so far from other serious contenders , I think it's absolutely safe to say that Paris Saint Germaine will have to stand on their feet if they must win than to relax with the belief that they're gonna win the league title at the end regardless of whichever way the chose to perform.

Hopefully, this can last until the end of the season, when the competition for Ligue 1 champions will take place between the three teams PSG Nice and Monaco because there are still so many matches that have to be played so anything is still possible, where these teams fail to maintain their consistency so it will only be leaving PSG or Nice firmly at the top of the standings, even who will be champion can already be seen when there are still a few matches remaining, so this again reduces interest in the results of the remaining matches, and unfortunately things like this often happen, player injuries and other things making it difficult for teams to still be able to win, especially when they are still playing in other competitions.
Usually, with a very tight point difference, big matches are highly anticipated, such as at the end of November PSG will face Monaco, beating Monaco will give PSG a big advantage.

The difference points between the top 5 clubs in this points table only a very close difference so there is still a very long way to go but what being discussed this time the top 3 such as PSG, Nice and Monaco who are currently in a competitive situation to get first place and I think PSG could take over first place again to dominate League 1 but this all requires other clubs to beat Nice and Monaco but unfortunately the other clubs League 1 are unable to beat the two challenger clubs. They have tried to beat Nice and Monaco several times but still failed.
So there nothing to hope for except that PSG must fight for themselves to perform consistently if they really want to dominate League 1 again, but the question, if PSG passes to the next round in the Champions League, will Enrique be able to manage the quality of his players to appear in League 1 and the Champions League? Which very difficult and to be honest I'm still a little doubtful about Enrique.

For the Nice match last night, my estimate is that this match will end in a draw or for example with a score of 1-1. However, in fact, Nice was able to maintain its consistency even though this victory was marred by red card drama. My initial suspicion was that Nice even had the potential to lose. but what I predicted completely missed. So far, Nice has gone without defeat and in the last 4 matches they have played with wins. The results are quite colorful in the race for the top of the Ligue 1 standings, even temporarily. Nice is 1 point ahead of PSG, 2 points ahead of Monaco.
BTW, Nice's second goal which came from a free kick was quite cool, even though the shot hit the goal post, it bounced and hit the back hand of the Rennes goalkeeper. As a result, Nice won the match against Rennes and returned to the top of the standings. So, let's just wait to see how Farioli's squad maintains its consistency.

Talking about Monaco, after being defeated by Lille in the previous week's match. Manaco was able to bounce back and beat Brest with a score of 2-0. and the goals scored by Manaco players were quite good, even though Brest actually put up quite a fight. In fact, they scored a goal early in the match even though it was disallowed in the end. but however the final result was won by Monaco. As for Folarin Balogon, he has not been able to show his capacity. in this match, he played Underperform. In the end, the competition in the top 3 of the standings was quite exciting and interesting.
Next week, Monaco will face a team that is easy to beat. but in the following week, Manaco played a tough match against PSG at the Parc des France, Paris Saint-Germain's headquarters. and this match should be an exciting and interesting match. for PSG, as I said, slowly Luis Enrique's squad will become top of the standings.

How far can they go that should be the question! But ¹⁴ Games unbeaten is massive, Paris Saint Germans are also amongst the club they won to keep such a great form.
The truth is they might not last at the top, but if they can go slower game by game then they can successfully qualify for the Champions League football next season. PSG are just mounting pressure and any slightly mistake, they're going through once again to the top.
Netx three fixtures for Nice are games I'm sure they can win but not hundred percent sure with Toulouse.

At the moment, Nice is currently flying high in the French Ligue 1 and I don't think how long they'll continue to do well in the league or how far they can go in the league should be a problem for anyone. Being able to remain as the only team in the league that's still unbeaten after the first 11 games is a significant improvement from what we saw from them last season and I think they deserve to be celebrated for their achievement so far.
Paris Saint Germaine I know will definitely take over the the top spot and win the league but as long as Nice still maintain to remain there, I think they should get all the praises they deserve.

As long as nice can still score to win the game is more than enough. Nice doesn't need to have strong attackers. The club needs only to make sure its opponents would not able to concede the goals against nice. Winning a with narrow score like 1-0 is not a problem as it doesn't matter how many scores being made. Win is a win. It will never change the lose. Nice played with its own style and its' feeling so confidence with it. No doubt that if nice is now is still at the top positions at this moment.
A middle tier team is getting hyped after nice is consistently winning the game. IT's amazing to see nice is joining in the title race right now.

Their consistency in Ligue 1 this season is still very much intact as not only are they currently at the top but to date they are the only club yet to taste defeat which makes this a very good thing for Nice.
Looking at some of the matches they will do now actually if they still perform like this then most likely 3 points can still be achieved but what I worry about for some clubs like this is erratic consistency.
In the big leagues such as La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 there are currently some clubs that can be said to be surprises such as Girona for La Liga, VFB Stuttgart for the Bundesliga and Nice for Ligue 1 but over time now Stuttgart has experienced problems and it is not impossible that clubs like Nice and Girona in La Liga will also be the same because however making some buzz at the beginning of the season is not a guarantee that they can be consistent until the end of season.

They're playing well, but I personally doubt if they can keep it up. The reason I say that is because their forward line isn't very productive. They might be able to pick up points against opponents with a fragile defnse, but what I'm worried about is when they come up against a club with a strong defense, because they'll definitely have more trouble scoring goals. I don't think having a good defense is enough, because to win the game they need to create goals to take the lead. There has to be a balance between the front line, midfield and back line.

 The only threat to PSG this season is Nice, so far they're the most outstanding team in the Ligue one cause they've kept an unbeaten run since the beginning of this season, and they're the only team that ate yet to be beaten,  however if they fail to win today if would give PSG who are at the top of the currently an advantage in the title race.

The thing is PSG is probably going to win the league title this season. After all, they are definitely the best team in this league. But to be honest no one actually cares about that anymore. People only care about them being able to win the Champions League title. Because people know that they are going to win the league title without too much problem because they do not have much competition. As you said the only threat right now seems to be Nice. I am pretty sure PSG is going to overcome that, even though they are in the second position right now, and Nice is in the first.

If PSG can sustain the level they momentarily have although I am talking only about the last 2 or 3 weeks, I believe that they can hurt some of the strong teams in the Champions League. Last season they were up a against Bayern Munich, which was in relatively good form although not their best, but Bayern Munich played two solid games and won deservedly. But if Bayern Munich has one of those days when the struggle, the strong attacking line of PSG could break through and score several goals.

I don't think PSG could beat Real Madrid or Manchester City in two games in total. Maybe at home, but in the away game I wouldn't see much of a chance for them.

I would say that it is going to be quite impossible for them if they keep playing like this, but they could also get better, in a situation where they are playing all those big clubs at UCL, that would be at least months and months away, not only we are not even out of group stages, which will take some time, but we are talking about last 16 which they shouldn't face with those teams normally, we do not really know to be fair but they may not, not sure.

So all in all, I would guess that quarter finals could be the first games where they could meet against some bigger clubs, and that is still a lot of months away. So, PSG could get better until then and we should keep that in mind when we are making estimations and predictions.

Usually, PSG wins the French League and there is not any competitor for them and winning the French League is something we are sure about it but still, they are not strong in the Champions League and usually, PSG fails to earn achievements there.

Yes indeed, at least Rennes can play well in this match too, although Rennes is playing away but Rennes also has a good effort to be able to get points in this match. But unfortunately, Rennes was not lucky enough and instead the Rennes player made an own goal for Nice's second goal in this match. At least I am also quite happy to bet on Nice in this match, because Nice is still able to maintain its good trend until now without defeat. Therefore, Nice still managed to stay at the top of the Ligue 1 standings so far and also, for the next match it looks like Nice can still guarantee three points, because Nice will play away against Montpellier.
