Surprisingly, Angers who are almost at the relegation zone beat Monaco tonight at home soil to step up and occupy the 14th position in the French Lig 1 table, this is why football is unpredictable , especially from the result I have seen this very season, the result has been way far different from normally the way results usually favours big teams.

This is one of the interesting games in the Ligue 1 today, Monaco was obviously the favorite for this game and this is why i said in recent times the Ligue 1 is becoming competitive seeing that teams that would be considered weak before now compete fiercely even against top teams that are in the league, Angers though have been of an average performance but they have not been able to have this kind of victory, even it feel some how like they got lucky with this but then three points has been awarded to them.

Your thinking is right, Angers did not dominate the match but they were able to score first and now they are leading 0-1 from Monaco who dominated the match.
Initially, I was quite doubtful that Angers could make a fight for Monaco, but they appeared quite disciplined. their defense read Monaco's attacks well and especially the goalkeeper's performance was quite good.
Hopefully, Monaco can score and you will win your bet.

Unfortunately my bet had to lose after Angers gave a surprise to Monaco and had to suffer defeat.  
It is really impressive Monaco appearance that should be more patient and take advantage of existing opportunities to at least score 1 score. But who knows what Monaco did like underestimating Angers but it turned out that Angers could provide resistance as I said.
Monaco began to be unstable and possibly in the next match I will avoid betting on Monaco because 2x lost to the team's appearance.

But luckily in the Lille vs Lyon match I was able to win the bet because surprising Lyon managed to reply with 1 score in the last minute.
