I said that before I think the main reason for PSG to have bad performances in the Champions League and the reason of why they usually fail to win the title of the Champions League is the league they are playing in it. PSG is playing in the French league and in this league, there are not many strong teams or there are not many teams they invest too much money too much money like PSG while PSG is far from the other teams and they won't have competitors to race with them.
However, they focus on the Champions League to have better performance but this is not enough and they won't have good competitors to race with them and Al Khelaifi's money won't solve this problem in PSG.

That seems to be changing just a bit this season, but we do not know if that will be a long term thing or just for this season. Monaco and Marseille is doing fine in the league, and at UCL we are seeing Brest doing fine as well which was definitely not expected at all and a shock to everyone.

So, if French teams keep doing this good both in league and also in UCL as well, that means their league is growing and the yare going to do better, and they should be gaining some advantage thanks to this as well. UCL on the other hand means more money, if French teams end up playing better and even go further into next stages that would mean a lot more money and a lot more money equals to more and better players as well. So when they do get good results, and get better players, that would make their team better, so that would in return become tougher opponents for PSG as well.

That should be one of the worst performance of PSG especially as they played at home. They ought to convert most of their chances but the failed woefully at that, winning the match with just one goal. I expected them to score at least three goals so that my bet which I played them 3+ will work but they failed to deliver and spoilt my bet. If PSG continue this way, it is a matter of time before they lose some matches this season.

PSG is the best team in the French League one, they don’t have tough competitors like other league do have that is why they are satisfied with the squad they have this season despite not putting the best performance of the PSG we used to know.

Monaco started very well this season, but all of a sudden they lose form by losing their last two League 1 games, which has made them to drop six points behind PSG; and they are the only team that looks good that can compete with PSG; however, it is not too late to see other teams do well again because Monaco have potential of making it this season if they have consistency in their next coming games.

The absence of Mbappe has affected PSG’s style of play, they are now struggling to score goals, unlike before when by now they will be leading the League 1 table with like 10 points difference.

Angers beating Monaco was definitely not what I expected this week at all, totally shocking result and Monaco must be very upset with this.
