Well when Lens gets results like this, it's obvious why PSG wins every single season. It is not really easy to keep up with a big team and when you have to win a game but fail, then you are going to not be able to get ahead of them. There is no reason to disagree with you, PSG will be far behind when compared to global clubs. The main reason for their dominance in Ligue 1 is that the opposition teams are very weak, there are no teams to compete with them. If there are 2-3 good teams in Ligue 1, I can definitely say that PSG's chances of winning the title will be greatly reduced. Lens were not a strong team, but they were a threat to PSG only with consistency. The quality of Ligue 1 is still far behind. PSG is still neglected in the Champions League, last season was an accident that will be proven this season.

Just as I suspected about the game, Lens lost points against Strasbourg... That was already a difficult challenge for them of course. Strasbourg can't be underestimated. By Lens, there is no way...

They really didn't do so but despite all those attempts they were able to score only 1 goal. You don't have the luxury of losing points while in a title race against PSG in this league. Even while PSG aren't having one of their best seasons.

A few hours to go for PSG to face Le Havre and most probably win as well.

Keeping up with the consistency of PSG is something that no any team will be able to do in the Ligue 1, that is why it’s always hard for teams to overtake them and still maintain it, because if not for the bad performances and challenges they had this season, the previous season they finished the season with an interval of almost 20 points. PSG won by a goal to nil, true, but let's look at how the champions played, nothing changed and that's how they do play their game but if this is the PSG we are going to see in the champions league against Chelsea then they should forget it, Chelsea are winning. I'm saying this because I expected more from PSG against a team that is not as strong as Monaco or Lens but could not beat them and score goals to show their dominance in that encounter, talking about PSG opponent Le Havre, they are 13th on the log and all PSG could do was waste opportunities, for me I feel disappointed...how I wish Lens are still on top, by now the score line would have been different.

PSG does not have an actually weak opponents in the Ligue 1, these opponents you refer to as weak are doing pretty fine in other competitions outside the Ligue 1, so it is not about them been weak but PSG has the quality they do not have and PSG has known them for the longest enough to always know how best to play against them, mostly if they are looking to get a win in that particular game, the depth of PSG as a squad too is an advantage others do not have, not like they are weak.

Yes, PSG will lag behind when compared to global clubs but right now it seems like their energy level has suddenly dropped as they have not maintained their attacking and singular dominance in League One and UCL play-off matches. Honestly, the attacking prowess and artistry of the defending champions against Le Havre, who are in 13th place in the points table, today was beyond my comprehension, because in this game they were expected to win by a large margin but their margin of victory was narrowed, so it's true they will face an extremely tough game in the upcoming Champions League Round of Sixteen against Chelsea.

Last seasons psg were at their best form which is why they were able to keep up with the consistency. The season psg hasn't  been able to maintain that same consistency as they did last seasons it has been hard for them to win games. They struggle to beat le havre 1 nil away.  if psg was at their best form,theycould score many goals before the end of the match. Psg also struggled hard in their games in the UEFA champions league. The season hasn't been good for psg, they're losing their dominance in the ligue 1.

Actually, these results were expected. Because Paris Saint-Germain has the power to beat any team in France, while the other teams don't have the same strength. Monaco, Marseille, Lens, Strasbourg, Lyon – it doesn't matter. These teams can achieve any score when playing against each other, but when playing against Paris Saint-Germain, we see that Paris Saint-Germain is most likely to win. Therefore, in terms of quality, Paris Saint-Germain is superior. That's why Paris Saint-Germain is always the favorite in the French league. Lens created some excitement this year, but they eventually fell apart. I don't think they can catch up with Paris Saint-Germain anymore.

If Lens could have continued their winning streak, it would have been very difficult for PSG to stay at the top of  the table. But Lens made several mistakes and lost points. On the other hand, PSG did not make any mistakes. Only the defeat against Rennes.

Lesn have lost points in the last two matches. They shared points with Strasbourg in the last match. On the other hand, PSG continued their winning streak. In the last match, PSG secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Le Havre. Although the winning margin  is small, it is only important for PSG to continue the winning streak now. They have been able to do this.

With the victory in this match, PSG is now 4 points ahead of Lens. They are in a somewhat safe zone. Now even if they lose one match, PSG will remain at the top of the table. So Luis Enrique can now focus fully on the champions league matches.

Retaining the Champions League title is much more difficult, so I'm personally a little pessimistic about PSG's progress in the Champions League this season. Even in Ligue 1, PSG's competition with Lens is much tighter, although PSG ultimately regained first place after Lens failed to secure a win against Monaco and drew against Strasbourg. PSG's inconsistent performance like last season, has made their chances of qualifying for the Champions League semifinals less significant because the competition in the Champions League is much tighter than in Ligue 1 itself.

I don’t know why the other teams’ performance is poor; maybe it’s because they don’t have enough money to purchase more players or something else. But to be honest, those teams are trying their best, most especially Lens this season. I know they lost against Monaco and still drew against Strasbourg, but it does happen in a season; that doesn’t mean they have poor performances. Moreover, PSG are ahead of them by 4 points, which to me is a good performance because, in the previous season, the nearest team to PSG had an interval of almost 20 points. So they have improved this season, no doubt about that.

It's still possible to see PSG retaining the champions League competition this season though they have not be consistent like last season but in the league they have managed to remain at the top on their local league where they have Lens as a rival, in the champions League they will play Chelsea if they manage to defeat them who knows if they will be lucky to meet a team they can defeat then they will have the chance to be in the finals. The champions League is not like the league games where a particular strong team will be expected to win rather a team with a better experience and knowledge cdn succeed in winning the champions League.

That is a reason every team should have squad rotation, because of fatigue and injuries, there is no excuse when you fail to win a title or disqualified from any competition, PSG have a good budget to sign players they need, but those for their starting XI and those who will come in as substitutes, if winning their domestic league and defending the Champions League was so much on their mind, the preparation should have been made to improve squad depth.

I can’t say I was t scared of their performance against Le Havre due to the fact that, I actually placed a bet on PSG with a 1.30 odds to beat Le Havre. They did beat them obviously but, I want to comfortable on how they struggled to increase their lead and never did. It came with the impression that, Le Havre could swing a ball across at anytime and with one swift touch, finds its way to the net. Well, that didn’t happen, good for me.

Marseille on the other hand showed exceptional quality today, come from behind to take the lead against Lyon with Lyon having to equalize and still, Marseille was determined to win the game and they scored a lot goal to seal it in a Marseille 3:2 Lyon victory.
